I still don't think he'll play. And that's not wishful thinking on my part. I want him to play. Not only do I like him as a player, I honestly think it's to LSU's advantage. That said, the risk just greatly outweighs the reward. It seems like the only reasons to play him are for revenge for the '07 game and to have their 1st undefeated NC team ever. But I think they're surely confident enough to not concede that even if he doesn't play.

They are not preparing for two QBs. You really think that in the event that tebow plays, that he'll be the same bruiser he normally is?

No! The typical Tim Tebow Game Plan is out the window!

I'm not the one making assumptions as to the severity of his injury. It is entirely up to the doctors whether he plays or not and I trust their decision making abilities because A) they have all the information and B) I'm not a neurologist.

But you are right I'm clueless because I'm suggesting none of you know more than the doctors who are monitoring him.

You forgot nausea as a symptom of a serious concussion...Tebow was vomiting on his way off the field.

Love the guy, he's a stud, Gators are a good team, but he's not playing and anyone who thinks otherwise is plainly stupid.

Fail.

That's an example of a proper appeal to authority.

Do you need the advice of a doctor to tell you not to stab yourself in the eyeball?

If he does start and has had only limited practice, and the Florida game plan has changed to a protect the QB mode and more of a passing mode, that could present some challenges for Florida since Tebow will not have had a lot of practice in this mode, nor will the team, even if he starts. He may play, but I think we may see a lot of the backup.

Okay, that is the play set to classy music which at no point in time shows his eyes being closed as proof of him being unconscious.

How much more do I have to spell it out for you. There has been ZERO proof of him having a severe concussion. Showing that play a million more times won't change it no matter what catchy tune it's set to. It LOOKED bad, but things aren't always as they appear. As someone who supposedly makes a living wearing camouflage (as your name would suggest) I would think you would realize your eyes can trick you.

Tebow's concussion was serious, knocked out, throwing up, bad headaches 2 weeks and he will not play......I think Les Miles knows this...

It doesn't matter if Tebow plays or not. LSU still has to prepare for the other QB. Here's why.
Say Tebow does start. His condition is iffy. He could EASILY get knocked out of the game early if his condition is still tenuous, thus bringing in the other QB for Florida. They HAVE to prepare for both.

Its also a symptom of pregnancy. Do you think Tebow is pregnant?

Edit* Just to be clear, I'm not saying he doesn't have a serious concussion nor am I saying that he will start. I'm simply saying there is no proof that he does because UF hasn't come out and said it. Everything everyone has been saying is simple conjecture.

You're correct...no proof has been offered to the general public. But there is ample evidence that points to his concussion being severe. How many football players with a minor concussion have you seen spend the night in the hospital? How many with a minor concussion puke on the field?

You don't recognize the severity of his concussion because you aren't a doctor.

Having said all that, I hope I'm wrong. I hope his concussion isn't anywhere near as severe as the evidence points to, and that he plays at full strength on Saturday night.

Try the :16 mark. Players are shaking him and he is limp.

Flaccid analogy.

Why are you so fricking defensive about it? If you were a true fan, you wouldn't want him to play. Better for him in the long run, IF UF loses it's not that big of a deal (SEC E) and will be understandable to the voters.

Yeah, for the record, I respect the hell out of Tebow, as an athlete and a person.

Either team can lose this game and it won't be the end of the world.

Are you saying that you do because you are a doctor? How often do ophthalmologists see concussion patients?

I would argue that the hospital was a precaution because its a heisman winning QB and the puking comes from the flu as well as the hit which had the bigger effect is hard to say.

Again my only point is that everything is conjecture at this point and I really wish people would stop talking about it as if it was fact. That is how false rumors start.

If you want to say in your opinion as an onlooker it looked like a severe concussion that's fine, I have no problem with that. But when you or anyone else states with certainty that it would be criminal for him to play, that is what I have a problem with.
