I wonder y people on this board think a there is no possibility of a qb change or a change of pace at qb. Y is that? I do agree that Rivers might b Mett, with little experience. But he could play. I also c Bolden as the most likely sub at qb. He has two seasons of game experience, wheels, a pretty good arm and has played against Alabama before. I would not rule out Randle either. The coaching staff has nothing to lose.

Because people on this board think they know everything. is amazes me the amount of Idiots that are on this board. Seems no one can have an opinion or ask a question.

Guess you didn't watch the LSU-Bama game last November?

His stats are not that great against UA, and I don't recall reading him being a person identified as having "wheels".

I don't see how he could. We have no other QB with any experience running that Mickey Mouse offense.

My apologies to Mickey Mouse...

Well it was a pretty stupid question. You don't bring in a backup quarterback against Alabama "just to give it a shot."

There's no other QB on the roster as talented as Mett. Coaches don't just throw QB's in to give them a shot, they play the one they think gives us the best chance at winning.

Don't get your feelings hurt so easily.

My two cents, 1/9 I wanted a change bad even if it would have failed.

Saturday I want them to stick with mett outside of an injury. Rivers doesn't have any experience yet, if he did I would say he is an option, but right now he isn't.

See the thing about 1/9 is we couldn't run and we had no threat to pass, Lee actually provided a better threat to pass so it made sense. The only thing we can do on saturday is do more warecat if mett struggles imho.

So by your logic we win or lose with met cause our other QB's are not experienced enough. As a coach if we were struggling at QB,I would try anything to try and spark our offense. How do you know what anyone on the team can or cannot do if you don't give a chance.
As bad a Jefferson played in that game you can't tell me people were not screaming for a QB change.

No we win or lose with Mett because our other QB's aren't good enough.

I don't but I assume the coaches would know from practice.

I'm not getting into the whole JJ vs. Lee thing, but coaches play who they think gives them the best chance to win. If anything, that game should show you that when the coaches have more faith in one guy, they will roll with him to the end. So just don't be surprised when Mett remains the QB for the next 2 years.

yeah lets put in Rivers in his first SEC game against Alabama. Saban would jack off to that.

Hey I would love nothing more than to see Mett do well. I just ask a question.
Most of you know it all's seem to think no one but you have the right to ask a question.

So you ask a question, you don't get the answers you like, and call everyone a know it all. Gotcha
