I'm sure this had nothing to do with it.

"And I already know some of you are gonna have fits over this question, so to you I say "

I sincerely apologize. (sarcasm)

Penn St was running a caveman offense. Bolden is a mobile qb as illustrated by his play in the spring game. I'm just sayoing I hope the coaching staff explores all options. Every game is a one game season for us from here on out. No use in leaving any arrows in the quiver.

IF we are going to run the ball And IF Alabama is stacking the line, why have Mett in at all. All he is going to do is hand off so why not put in JR and let him run that offense? Having another person to guard (qb)on option plays at least takes out one defender.

I bet we see a lot more WareCat than most think.

Genius Miles can't help but to want a running QB against Bama.

Mett needs to step up and be what he was touted to be. That is all there is concerning the QB situation.

So just don't be surprised when Mett remains the QB for the next 2 years.

I agree with your post up to this point. Mett has the rest of this season, the spring, and fall camp to improve. If he doesn't, then I think that a change should be made, provided that we have an alternative option. We just can't afford 2 more years of bad QB play. It's killing our offense. With the exception of the first 7 games of last season when Lee was playing well, we've been virtually one-dimensional for the past 3 years. Our backup QBs aren't getting vital game time experience because we can't score enough points to put opponents away until late in the game. That could very well come back to bite us in the future.

I concern is that he will give up if we are down by 14 points instead of trying to make a huge comeback.

Sure, rivers will explode for 300+ and 35 points....... Yeah, that's the plan.

No I mean on obvious running downs or series where we decide we are goin to run it. Not meaning we pull Mett for the game. 1st and goal from the 2 would be an example. I am saying expand on that to encompass a larger percentage of the plays.
