I agree. But if I could choose any of those four on the other side to get in the finals, it would be them. Shut up once and for all.

No reason not to. They don't come off the bat any faster (which is what they were trying to prevent), but they carry farther.

Be careful what you wish for.

Whoever can make a decision on the size of the ball park needs to take a serious look at moving the fences in. Home runs should be part of the college game. The Creighton coach said he has never seen a homerun between the bullpens in that park. Basically, if you don't hit the ball down the lines, you're not getting it out of the park.

He CRUSHED that shite. there will be 0 homeruns over the next few days if that didn't make it.
He got every single piece of that ball, right on the sweet spot with full power.
Ain't no hme runs happening. Good thing raph and jacoby loves them some doubles and triples in the gaps.

I'm really indifferent as to who won, but that's pathetic. He couldn't have hit that ball harder. The 90's 15-13 games were a bit much, but there should at least be the threat of SOME HR's in a game!

it really changes the out come of games...i understand safety but they need to move the fences in to compensate

I hope LSU saw that and buys into the "hit it where it's pitched" philosophy while not swinging from the heels.

The changes that were made after the first bats were perfect IMO. The second time around they simply deadened them to much. There isn't even a ping. I've never held one of the new bats but I bet they feel like toothpicks.
When the bats get that lite, it really doesn't matter how hard you hit it. Even someone super juiced would have a problem getting all of that. Maybe a PERFECT hit on a 98 mph fastball.
frick these bats. Move the fences in and change the balls.
bullshite and really kills the game. Like taking kickoff returns and punt returns out of football.

i'm happy with the beevs losing but that one swing summarizes college baseball for the last few years. It's a sad, sad time for college baseball. It needs to change.

They just need to switch to the pro balls. According to research on the drag on the current balls versus MLB type, a ball pulled or hit directly the other way in the air would carry 10-12 feet further while one hit between the alleys would go 18-20 feet further. Problem solved.

NCAA hates baseball
I swear.
I swear.

I agree that it was fine after the first change. Guys would hit 20 or so homers are now lucky to get 10 and you didn't have the crazy gorilla ball numbers.
