College football is all about matchups and yesterday’s OM/USCe game means nothing

In regards to LSU/Ole Miss.

USCe has no passing game of note and survives off their QBs running ability.

Ole Miss offense looked good, but also a number of horrible decisions and turnovers by USCe made the game worse than it should have been.

Will be a very different game on Saturday, but should be a fun one.

Yeah, Ole Miss is a bad matchup for LSU.

And the Ole Miss WR fumbling through the end zone kept the game closer than it should’ve been.

Long slow drives with CD. Gas their D and rest ours.

THIS and don't give up the big plays over the top. They are going to look for matchups and take shots downfield. Defend them, better yet pick em off. Play sound DEF and extend drives on OFF leading to TDs. Hope the home crowd shows up BIG. Remind the nation of what Tiger Stadium sounds & looks like on a Saturday night!

Single high safety and charge Alexander with guarding Harris. We need to hold the RB Parrish under 5 yards a carry. We didn't just lose last year because the DBs were lost in coverage, we lost because their run game was killing us. Judkins ran 33 times for 177 yards and 3 TDs. Their backup Bentley ran 9 times for 90 and a TD. Dart ran 7 times for 50 and a TD. They got 317 yards and 5 TDs on 49 carries (6.47 ypc).

I truly believe LSU wins if it can hold Ole Miss to 27 like USCe did.

Kiffen doesn’t allow their D to be gassed. The d lineman will go down. O/U 12.5 “injuries” to their lineman to slow us down?
