yep, at the same time we were kind of in the skids football wise(end of Cholly Mac era,) and Tech was kicking arse in DII(think that's what it used to be called,) Tech fans were like today's ULL fans, very cocky and obnoxious, thought they wanted a piece of us, they'd have been annihilated

Tech beat Arkansas when the Hogs were undefeated and #1 in the nation. Followed that up by beating the Ole Miss Rebels who were #3.

Now, this is The Rant that I know and love.
Louisiana Tech is having a solid year, while LSU has a down year. It happens from time to time. There were threads like this back in 2014 when the Cajuns were ranked #1 in the country. Even when we (Cajuns) were ranked ahead of LSU in football this past year, people were freaking out. Sure, it was an anomaly and was pretty cool; but let's be honest: it isn't consistently attainable.
Being ranked lower than La Tech has nothing to do with internal issues on LSU's team. Fix that, and everything will change for the better. You know where I am going with this.

Are you referring to ULL or LT? LSU scored 12 earned runs against LT who committed two errors. Labas have up 11 hits and didn’t make it out of the 4th inning. I think it’s safe to say LSU and Labas are also better now than they were in the third game of the season. Against ULL (4th game of season), LSU had 7 earned runs on 14 hits. We would have won either game.

Did they have to play NINE games against #3 Tennessee, #10 Ole Miss or #11 Vanderbilt?
So they beat Arkansas on a Sunday game by 2 and Ole Miss in a midweek game at home.
They've also lost to ULL twice and we beat the breaks off them.
You're comparing apples to oranges.

Theyre definitely playing respectable baseball right now. To elaborate on those games, Tech brought Arkansas to 10 innings the first game of the series, lost second, and won the third. Then Tech not only beat Ole Miss but beat them 13-1 the Tuesday after playing Arkansas.
At this point, I genuinely hope we lose every game for the rest of the season so there is no doubt PM gets kicked to the curb. Us winning out may save PM's job.
