He looks like he’s got more poise in the pocket than Collins and the transfer at 16 lol

He throws a better ball than the other 2.backups

Honestly would’ve liked to see him get a series with the 1s

Guys I am all about him being a great qb. This spring game was a great start for him. He grew up here where I live so have kept an eye on his stuff since I knew LSU was involved. He is a very hard worker and has had an absolute ton of coaching from a guy that works with qb’s here in north Florida. This was a great sign that he was not thinking. I know he was not content with his senior year play.

It's a shame him and Underwood aren't going to be able to co-exist here.

I think Hurley starts next year. The battle between him and Underwood is going to be interesting. If Hurley balls out next year, Underwood could bounce. I hate it, but that's todays college football.

You think Nuss goes pro after 1 year as a starter?

If he performs as well as I suspect he will. Absolutely. He'll be 23 with a diploma for the 2025 draft. His dad has been preparing him for this his whole life.

I hope he proves me wrong, but I just don't see entering the draft making sense for him. Even if he balls out, its unlikely he would be a projected top 15 pick and would be able to drastically improve his stock by staying another year. Kids just seem to make drastic leaps after their first year as a starter in todays game.

Age on a qb means nothing they play into their late 30s

If he has the type of season that propels him into a 1st rounder then lsu will have a he an awesome year

I think he’s back next year regardless though

Nuss is gonna be a one and done QB. This offense has 3-5 first round draft picks on it.

Yes. I've said this for a while now. Nuss comes in and throws for 4k with 35+ TDs, and he is gone. He has the physical traits to be a first round pick, has a father who coaches the position, and LSU is prepping him to run some stuff under center. Add in that the draft class is thin, and you have more than likely a 1 and done.

I almost forgot, the kid is losing 4 out of 5 multi year OL starters, Lacy, Daniels, Hilton, and Taylor as receiving options, and possbily the best pass blocking RB in WIlliams too.

I would be shocked if he doesn't leave to be honest.

It’s April, so yes. When we win the first 12-team playoff he’ll head.

Then Hurley takes us b2b in 25 and 26, dips and gives the reins to Underwood.
