How is he not finding a landing spot? It blows my mind.

Leg strength just isn't there for pro ball

Agreed. His status is cemented as a tiger, just hoped he would have some success as a pro.

Some people are just great college players. Not that hard to figure out. College talent doesn’t always translate

I thought he was knocking down 50+ FGs with ease in practices.

He can't kick-off or kick longer fg. He's money from 45 in, but no pro team is carrying 2 place kickers.

Jeez.

Yet a guy like Cody Parkey was given a spot and literally lost a playoff spot within 40

I’m not so sure it’s his distance costing him opportunities as much as his trajectory on his kicks. He tends to kick a low ball, especially from beyond 40. His range is about 53 yards and sadly teams are enamored with guys that can boot it 60+ in game situations. He’s the new Kai Forbath. Deadly from 45 but not much after that.

Why doesn’t O get him on staff in some capacity? His clutch performances last year set the stage for this year, I’m just saying...

Pro kickers make it from 60+ with ease in practice.

Lots of us called this after his last year at lsu, leg strength is his issue. You need to be able to kick it at least 55 to be on an nfl roster. Cole just has to kick at too low of a trajectory at 50+
