I think one reason we came out flat was the Bama hangover. Remember Les' history with that? Yet Orgeron always seems to win right after a loss.

It was cold and wet which makes me think we were playing not to lose more than trying to run up a score.

I know we have deficiencies in a lot of places but before this season started my know it all friends and I (Dead Pecker Club) sat around looking at the schedule and thought we could potentially could go 3-9, maybe luck out and go 5-7, still with a fluke have a winning season.

We have become a spoiled society and we LSU fans have to be the worst bunch of negative Nellies in the SEC.

I was there and the weather was miserable. However, a win against Arkansas by only a TD is a little concerning regardless of the weather.

Yet people wanted a change from Miles for exactly this reason.

Lots of teams score when it's cold.

Auburn and Miami ended up being not very good. Orgeron has benefited from that greatly this year.

Or maybe seeing constant potential wasted is more of the frustration than "being spoiled." LSU hasn't played in a serious bowl or championship since the beginning of the decade. Fans aren't spoiled. They're frustrated and their patience is running thin.

Was it also not cold and wet for that crummy Arkansas team?

Some of them are sickening. The comments about the coaches are disgraceful. You would think that the team was having a losing season to hear them talk.

Arkansas was 2-7 no excuse and if he can't get the team ready to play then what's the difference between him and less. Stop and take a look all of you guys are just making excuses we deserve better than the last ranked offense in the SEC

One would think that after that embarrassment in prime time on national TV we couldn't wait for a chance at redemption.

No more excuses. Get it done or get out.

up 24-3 had nothing to do with a hangover...letting them back in because of some dumb penalties and becoming overly conservative on offense is on the coaches and execution of the players.

You don't deserve anything. You're a fan and not a very good one either. This team has a very good chance to have a 10 win season and a bowl win which LSU hasn't done in quite a few years. The way you are acting you'd think the team was having a losing season.

Of course they were flat after the Bama game. I expected that. But when you are playing the worst team in the league, who you should normally beat by about 30 points (being generous, considering it's a road game), it's acceptable in a letdown week to win by 17 plus points. Instead, they won by 7.

I know people like to say a win is a win, but that isn't always true in college football where style points matter. If you're playing a good team, you're always happy to win in any way you can. But against Arkansas? Not so much.

The post are about frustrations that go back a decade! The previous staff was fired for exactly this! WInning season, solid D, good Special teams and putrid offense.

I and like most other ranters, can point out problems with the staff and offense, while supporting and enjoying a winning season, basically like we have the past 8-10 years. I'm not gonna burry my head in the sand and ignore the problem. I am sick and tired of seeing teams wasted bc the Staff (former and current) cant put a competent offensive product on the field. This isn't a one off season and a spoiled fan base getting the pitch forks out, this has been a problem for 10 years!

Yep, they could have. But they didn't. 14 wouldn't have been impressive, but it would have been better.

Spread was 12.5. We cover if nick scores either of the 2 that he laid down.

LSU controlled the game the entire time. I watched this game with my buddy who played for Arkansas. Not one time throughout the game did I think LSU would lose nor did he think Arkansas would win.

LSU played this game as a cold nasty road game and just get out with the win. Defense absolutely dominated and we had 35 minutes of possession. We got the ball back with 5:27 left and ran the whole game out.
