They are damn good, and bring the bats when it counts. I don't like the little bearded midget either, but he and his team bring the effort.

They turn a lot of double plays too.
The book on these guys as we know is that the opponents leave a lot of people on base. They seem to find a way to stop the other guy from scoring whether the pitcher bears down or the infield makes a big play.

as an LSU fan, of course you want to win it all every year. even Skip didn't do that. as far as coaches go there simply is no preeminent HC in the game. Turner at USCe was the last guy I could say that was. there is much parity in college baseball whether folks want to admit it or not. sure, LSU will get great signing classes but so will others. LSU is probably the most consistent top performer in the game today. there are a lot of very good baseball teams EVERY YEAR and there is not much difference in top 30 or so. it's not like football.
