I would be pleased with any of these names, but only if we start with Tier 1 and work our way down. LSU is a sleeping giant due to recruiting. Every coach in the last two decades have won a championship by year 3(Saban at year 4 but he had a lot more building to do). Just for once can we hire a coach that has the ability to make in game adjustments, sustain a positive culture within the locker room, and not be a PR nightmare. These guys I believe will achieve all of that, Kiffen being the only question when it comes to PR.

I want no part of any of the Tier 3 coaches. I'll live with Tier 2 guys. Only guy I'd be over the moon about would be Fickell.
I'd live with Franklin and would be happy with Cristobal and Chadwell. Would live with Napier and Kiffin as well.

Throw Jimbo and BOB out and dont include Ms Meyer and try again in Tier 3.
PS. I would throw the bank at Dabo Sweeney, but wouldnt hold my breath, but hell yes, Id make him say No. And then I would smooth talk Lane Kiffen, something about having the athletes to beat Saban.

You don’t know that he was or wasn’t. What I do know is he’s an outstanding coach and I trust Woodward to have back up plans should he need them that don’t involve hiring a coach nobody else would ever want.

There is no search- only in here. LSU has a coach as far as the administration is concerned and he is not going anywhere this year so get over it!
