Les stared down the admin and they blinked
Les is bulletproof now short of a major scandal or a complete program collapse
That isn't even taking into account the massive economics of firing him and replacing him. He is here to stay and I support him 100%

Yeah, if you totally overlook the two national championship games Les took to LSU while Richt never sniffed his first.
Some of you guys give retard a bad name.

Y'all are almost asking for the Fullmer situation at LSU, If they don't have someone lined up. I'm all for a change, if they have the same caliber coach lined up. I can't see a coach leaving a secure position for a school that just fired a top 10 coach for a 9-10 win season.

You bashers always overlook the fact that LSU had a huge number of players declare early for the NFL draft as if this didn't have a major impact on LSU's play onthe field and the team depth.
Why can't you detractors every get things right?

byxtiger ! you must have more power than the LSU officials who tried to get rid of him last year , right now they are just grateful they are still here !

Les Miles in that group of individuals
Les is fortunate that after the disaster of Basketball the Baseball Team took the focus off of him for awhile. If he WAS ABLE to use the time wisely he'll be fine, if he did not, it is over.

what makes you negatigers believe that the next coach can recruit like Coach miles? LSU struggled with recruiting until Coach denardo come come along without Lou tepper , Denard would be the better sabin of the sec right now !

Yeah, sure. Never sniffed a national championship game

I'm sure LSU fans take a lot of solace in that 21-0 shitshow on 1/9/12. At least they got there, right?
Bottom line: Richt had a great deal of success during his time at UGA. Did they ever get in the NC game? No, but if you're going to act like LSU's team performance in their 12-2 2007 NC season is somehow vastly superior to UGA's 13-1 2002 season and UGA's 2012 near-miss, then I don't think there's any point in continuing this conversation.
LSU hasn't been to the SECCG since 2011. That's the point I'm making. If LSU doesn't make it again this year with the talent they have, you can bet your arse that the heat on Miles will be full blast.

Mark had a damn fine run at Georgia. I believe you guys will have a tough time finding someone better, but unfortunately the SEC has become, win titles or go home.
We can compare the two coaches until the cows come home, but the bottom line is that Miles has taken two almost totally different LSU teams to national championship games and has a national title while Mark was never able to achieve that level at Georgia,
I think that anyone choosing to gloss over that pretty damn big difference between coaches is simply not being honest with themselves.

Correct. And at least we were 13-0 including an arse whipping of UGA

You clowns with your stupid, Les was almost fired BS, make me laugh! Not one reliable news outlet made such a claim, but because a idiot on a message board posted it, it's true
You're obviously quite naïve

LSU facilities & revenue was near the bottom of the SEC in 1998. The TAF was a game changer. Comparing coaches 20 years apart as recruiters is ignorant.

Well OK, then
I wasn't trying to start a pissing contest. I was responding to people saying that Miles gets to stay at LSU as long as he wants.
Which you apparently disagree with as well.

I predict that what will happen is that upon winning the NC this year there will be roughly at least a third of the fanbase that will want CLM gone.
This happened after LSU won the NC in 07, except it was pretty close to half screaming for his head.

You are an idiot! Getting to a NCG is a hell of a lot better than never sniffing one no matter whether you win or lose. You think MR wouldn't have given a nut to play in a NCG?

Playing in a NCG is vastly superior to not playing in one and you are a retard if you think otherwise.

Les is still the LSU coach, Cam is still the LSU OC, Jimbo is still in Florida, no reliable sports outlet found anything to back up Jimbo ever even considering coming to LSU, but I am naïve.
The perfect example of retard thinking. It was posted on a sports board by an anonymous clown so it must be true.
