How the frick is Oklahoma receiving more votes than Vandy?

Probably, but if LSU is the 5th best team in the country, it's a different year. Every team has flaws, but LSU has fatal flaws at the safety position.

Not last night.... the D is getting better every week.

They are, and we played a pretty proficient offense. I definitely liked what I saw, but I need to see it more than once for me to consider it anything other than an aberration. On a good note, it's Texas and Oregon, then everybody else basically, so the rank really doesn't matter. Just keep getting better, and keep winning.

I do have to be objective now - Bama has a better win: UGA at home vs OM at home, and our losses are comparable. 4-2 Vandy on the road and 3-3 USC at a neutral site. Both teams struggled with USC.
Bama gets the nod because they beat down Wisc on the road. LSU has everything in front of them now.

AP will probably have us at 11 or 12 lol

The team is missing Nuss using his very capable legs to extend drives more than it is missing better safety play.

Nah, there just aren’t any elite teams in college football anymore.

Should be above Alabama

If those were the playoff rankings, LSU would play at Alabama in the first round.

They drop Tennessee for struggling but Bama gets another pass lol

Yep
Coaches poll is better anyway. The AP has always has too much media input and media bias.
The media is poo all around.

That is my opinion too; but it isn't a popular opinion.
I won't hold my breath for the AP Poll results to move LSU up more than one.....that Ole Miss loss to Kentucky is looking like a bad loss now.....unless Vandy can continue winning like it never has before in my lifetime.

Meh. High enough to control our destiny.
If anyone is ahead of us who shouldn't be we'll take care of them on the field.

Both are garbage but AP poll is full of a bunch of media people with complete and utter biases.

I'm surprised Vandy isn't top 25.

JMU with 3 votes but ULM with 0. Make it make sense
