Yall.. I just talked to the barista at Starbucks and she has a friend who has toured OSU's campus before.. she said Burrow is an LSU lock. She always brews my coffee at just the right temperature so I trust her.

Option 1) Do not bring Burrow in, for fear that the 3 current QB's feel dissed
Whomever our #3 is, this is literally the height of DGAF.

Option 2) Bring him in and roll out the carpet, but "stop short" of giving Burrow and his family a 100% guarantee,
You never guarantee shite. Anyone who wants it should be shown the door.

but that he would be the likely starter?
Well, I mean, I'd only say this if I REALLLLLLY felt confident that it was the case. Like, if I felt there was a very noticable gulf in talent.

Option 3) Bring him in, roll the red carpet, and promise him the starting job, knowing you will have to give a personal face-to-face to existing QB's and their Dad's/families.

Recruit him just like you would anyone else at a position of need. If a player is good enough and confident enough, then that player should believe they will win the starting job. They don't need to be promised anything.

The fans are like dorks who were never good or confident at anything or competed for anything. No competitor wants to be given something. They want to earn it. Especially a guy who comes to a new team.

Imagine Burrow the first time he goes into the huddle...."Ok guys, I was just guaranteed this job and didn't have to earn anything like the rest of you. You should all be grateful I'm even here. Now go block those other 11 guys who want to knock me out. Thanks!"
