I never said they ar elite. It’s also okay to lose on the road by three to a team like Alabama without your two best scoring options
Posted on 1/19/22 at 9:10 pm to tigerbait2010
And I never said it wasn’t acceptable either. But people are saying they are so good because they have two good wins. We are now one of 3 good wins. But they aren’t elite because they beat two or three good teams. They have underperformed for their pre-season expectations. Not sure how any of this exposes Wade like was said. Also not sure how it shows our schedule is why we have 3 losses. That’s simply not true. We have 2 of those because of injuries, point blank. Nothing else, not Wade, not referees, not even Gaines, simply because of injuries.

Sitting on 150 down votes. Damn impressive son

You're right. We'll agree to disagree and re-visit this conversation after their exit from the NCAA tournament. It'll be quicker than you expect because this team isn't going far.
They're better offensively with Pinson and Days but not by much. Also, Gaines is the best on-ball defender and typically plays less minutes than last night if Pinson is there. Pinson is decent but no better defensively than Gaines. Days also is decent but not better defensively than Eason. Eason also would've had less minutes if Days was there. Eason is the best player on this team BY FAR! Just shows that WW mage a mistake bringing him off the bench. Never seen a team where the absolute best player is their 6th man. SMH.

You are 100% correct. No way this team goes far. Too many weaknesses. But, you can't tell these guys. They were fooled by 12-0 against cupcakes, and they refuse to see it. LSU is 12-6 at very very best...more likely 11-7.

We lost to ARKANSAS AT HOME. No excuse. Auburn is simply better.

Why don't you geaux piss up a tree.

Bruh why are you trolling? Anybody complaining about Will wade has become spoiled. We are in the tournament or conversation consistently since he’s been here. He gets a 5 star yearly and great transfers. We’ve been relevant since he’s been here, where were we before he got here?

Agree, all are good but losing to R Kansas at home is unacceptable

They long for the days of 2-16 conference records under Johnny Jones.

That huge mistake he’s made has them sitting at 15-3 for the year. Adam Miller is there best player on this team, if he’s not hurt for the year, a lot of you idiots that blame it all on Wade don’t have much to gripe about.

Wade looks like Humpty Dumpty with that waist fat band.

This sky is falling routine so many of you have is so hard to figure. How could last night not have you fired up for our potential. Yeah it sucked to lose two games we really shouldn’t have. But we had guys out (and not just two
Guys, but our two veteran players), got royally screwed last night and showed tremendous heart, which to me is so much more important than the fact we turned the ball over. This team will never be a great offensive team, but they will get better. Gaines has now had to run the team three straight games and will only continue to get better. The experience he has had the last three games is enormous. Murray had to become a go to scorer for us last night, which is only going to help us. These injuries have forced other players to step up, and even if they were far from perfect, it will only benefit us the rest of the season. The point is to be playing our best in March, and these last couple games will only help us. Why that’s so hard to see I don’t understand.

You and the 29 other people that upvoted you are idiots...

The sky isn’t falling for him, he’s celebrating. This guy isn’t an LSU fan, he’s been rooting against The Tigers from day 1.

Sadly, I don’t doubt that. I was pissed for about 2 minutes after the game, then realized as much as it sucked to lose to Bama, we will be so much better off having gone through what we have the last three games.

I had the same thoughts exactly. I saw Murray take a big step last night in asserting himself on offense. I saw Reid start pulling down physical rebounds in traffic late in the game. I saw Gaines confidence in his shot grow. That type of progress from those 3 youngsters is going to payoff big time once the team is back to full strength and may not have ever happened if we didn’t have to go through this adversity. In the end we’ll be a better team because of it.
