Jesus, who cares?! The dude quit on LSU, totally destroyed and embarrassed the program and the university for a few years.

I’ve been as critical of O’s last 2 seasons as anyone here, but frick YOU AND frick ALL OF THIS.

Whatever his failings as a head coach were after winning it all, I wish him nothing but good health and I appreciate that he’s willing to come back and be a part of the program in a background role.

Why would you waste your time wishing ill health on anyone, no matter what you think of them?

He hasn't gotten the hip replacement yet, that's why he's limping and using the cane. He didn't want to get it done before the season started which was a mistake, will get it done after the season.

From what I was told, by someone that knows him, is that he basically fell out

CLKs comments last month make a lot more sense now

quote:

He’s doing better,” Kiffin said of Orgeron via Jacques Doucet of WAFB. “It was a little bit scary. I’m not going to get into any details with that. But he’s doing better. He’s still not all the way back. He just means a lot to me, we’ve just been through a lot. His passion — probably shouldn’t have joked one day. He said, ‘Hey, coach. You know I’m never going to the hospital, man. If I die, I’m dying out on that field there.’ That’s who he is, that’s how he is with everything. Sometimes that’s not always the best thing to follow.”

I had a knee replacement four years ago. It became infected a year later. It was not the fault of anyone as joint placement infections occur in about 1 to 5% of the surgeries. I have had four operations total, however, except for some mild pain, stiffness, informally the knee is finally healed. I hope Coach O makes a full recovery.
