When Coach Miles left it was still a decent program beat Miss State and barely got beat at Auburn. Coach Miles gets canned Coach O finishes the year out knowing what he needs to fix or replace because he was the recruiting corridinator. He had to have a chapter in the binder about loosing NFL caliber talent to the League. Happens every year here by the way. So quit bashing the second winningest coach in LSU history. He'd be sitting 5-0 with this schedule! Hope and Pray we fire that arse and that AD arse!

There is no doubt that the talent level and lack of depth has hurt. Several experienced players who could have contributed have either transferred or been suspended for whatever reasons. This happened after O took over. The lines are thin but still have upperclassmen playing along side the freshmen. Weathersby, Clapp, Key, Gilmore, Malone, and LaCouture are all playing and not doing much better than the freshmen much of the time. It's game 5. Results should be noticeably positive and not regressing by now. The players are an issue, but not near the biggest issue.
