RickDaddy's "fact, not a bash" post should be a must read for the "hate Miles" and "fawn over Coach O" crowd.
The odd thing about the vociferous Miles' haters is the level of hate is usually reserved for someone who is a real a-hole - which Miles is clearly not.

the sad thing is posters on here didnt just attack Miles' football knowledge, they called him a retard,liar,piece of shite,and a bumbling fool.

I don't look at the record of miles at Oklahoma State, or prior. Just like I didnt look at Saban at mich st. I dgaf if they won 99% of their previous games. I look at what they do at MY University. Past success doesn't excuse current failure. Past failure doesn't guarantee current failure. Saban was very good here. Miles was a little better than Saban early on. O is looking to be over 75% at Lsu. It appears he is closing strong in recruiting, particularly at positions of need. I'm a fair man. O has earned my support going into next year, and will be evaluated for his results next year. Sorry, I'm not going to evaluate him using decade old results. Flame away losers. Better yet, get a room together.

Miles in fact did lie about changing the offense going into 2016. He gave the administration and fans alike a big ole FU. As I sat in the stands at Lambeau Field, I remember thinking I have been a vehement supporter of Miles all these years. That was the day he lost me.

Anyone with a brain knows it was his refusal to change his offensive strategy. In fact, he bragged about not game planning against a team's perceived weaknesses, but rather we are Lsu and we are going to do what we do best. That, combined with recent sec performance, plus his flat out lie to administration and the fan base going into 2016, cost him his job.

I think most rational posters knew we had major injuries and suspensions going into Troy. Did we think we would lose? No. Was troy a little better than many thought? Yes. Would we beat them by 3-4 TDs today? Most likely.
