You went to the wrong place. You should know that the LeBatard Show is anti-sports radio talk. I happen to love the show because it mocks sports radio tards that take things way too seriously.

What are you expecting to learn about LSU football that you don't already know from TD? Do you just get your rocks off listening to national ESPN blowhards gush about LSU football?

It is not petty to want your head coach to be a respectable university spokesperson, a well-spoken person of dignity.
Whether he reflects these qualities speaks volumes about the university. Judge for yourself how Da Caoch o measures up to these standards.

Why even ask any football questions if the coaches these days only give canned, coachspeak answers? Aren't you tired of hearing that?

He asked about his time in Miami (recruiting The Rock and coaching Sapp) and he got scared about his past and gave a vanilla answer to everything.

I was looking forward to him responding to the McElwain/Shark photo scenario thinking Coach O would give a funny, coonass response and all he said was "no comment"

Not trying to defend Miles' coaching prowess, but posts like this make your look like the "moron"

I do hate the generic rhetoric but asking about Key or how we'll replace Adams would be relevant and might provide a slight insight.

Pick 1 legit question is all I'm asking of a "professional" reporter interviewing a coach on an allegedly sports based show. Fill the rest with clown questions but is one legitimate question to much to ask?

I'm probably just still having football withdrawals so I guess I'm just in need of something relevant to read/listen to.

I'm not sure if there's another Bill Snyder out there.

It's all about the Brand that is LSU football. Once we beat Bama and leave our childish offensive philosophy behind, the ESPN crew will treat us like adults.

You're right.
Comments that Les was a "high functioning moron" say more about the poster than Les.
Les' faults were very frustrating and he needed to go, but he served loyally, for the most part, very successfully and he never did things that embarrassed the university, aside from spectacular game day screw ups on the field.
Players and parents seemed to love him, which is why he was a great recruiter. Articulate? No, but he was a class act and I thank him for his service to LSU.

Willing to bet Miles has a higher IQ and at least one more degree than lakeboy7.
He's certainly more accomplished than a message board poster.

The evidence is there, go back and look at some press conferences.

i will admit this is petty, but I fricking hate how we have another coach that is a fricking caricature to the public. We went from the grass eating mumbling clown, to the side show monster drinking farmer fran. I hate how when Miles was interviewed he was treated as a joke, and I hate how it is the same thing with O.

I want a coach that is treated as a great coach, like Saban, Meyer, Jimbo, etc

I know it is petty but it is getting to me

It's not petty. We are a comedy bit to the rest of college football.
