LSU, outside of the last decade, has ALWAYS been medicore. Even during that stretch, since 2000, we have had 3 or more losses in 10 years. Soo 10 out of the last 16 years we have had 3 losses. That includes when Saban was here. In this same stretch, we are 9-6 in bowl games. Stahp.

People act like we are some top tier program that has been winning championships forever. We have what, 3 chips, one of them being a co-champ?

I am not saying to accept mediocrity, but please, quit acting like we are some godly program who has always won.

I'm kind of starting to like all of the senseless pissing and moaning. It's futile to try and change it. It is the culture here.

For the last 21 yrs., LSU ranks 8th for wins among power 5 schools, 1st in the SECW for wins, and played in 3 NCGs. From 1956 to 1975 LSU ranked 7th in the nation for wins, 2nd in the SEC for total wins, and won a NC. That a quick 41 yrs that calls
BS on your "outside of the last decade, has ALWAYS been medicore".

Every school in the SEC has averaged 3 L's in the last 21 yrs. So, what's the big deal?

We arent the best in college football, but we sure the hell aren't "medicore" under any standards i know.

Where you one of those Miles haters? If so, you are a hypocrite.

I tolerated Miles. Never thought he was as bad or good as some here insisted he was. Coach Zero is the worst choice we could have made for HC. I really hope I am wrong and eat crow. I lived through the 90's LSU football. It was miserable.

We won the NC in 2003, another one in 2007, and played for another one in 2011. Since then, we've continued to have elite recruiting classes. So our expectations have changed drastically compared to prior decades and we should view ourselves as an elite program that should at least be in the mix for championships more often than not.

But the last 4 years, we've gone 13-11 against the West. Thus the problem.

While there were better choices out there, I agree that O is the coach and I think he will do well here... I liked what I saw out of this team the last 7 games... they were exciting to watched and dominated the teams they should have....

LSU was around before O. LSU will be around after O. My loyalty is to LSU, not to O. If people think O will be a disaster, it is their duty to speak out so our AD will pull the plug when he inevitably brings us to 8 wins next year and less than that the year after.

Football success is precarious. If you fire Fulmer and hire Lane and Dooley, you'll be shitty for a decade if not longer. We skipped right to the Dooley part.

You may not have liked miles but he was very successful at both HC stops.
He was more successful than his predecessor at every stop.

You liked watching lsu lose to a 14 point underdog at home while they were missing tons of defensive starters?

Whats funny is you really believe that Miles wouldnt have dominated those teams with triple digit ranked run defenses.

Les miles is a far better hc than ed orgeron and FACTS prove it.

By all means keep thinking that a career dline coach that wasnt running the offense or defense had a hand in us playing well. I just love the hypocrisy of you not giving miles credit for his 1st 3 years and yet give credit to orgeron for interim success.

If you see my post history you'll see where I was originally all in until he decided to put lf in the Florida game.

I've been here since 2003 so my handle name is meaningless

There is as much talent in the state of Louisiana per capita as anywhere in the country. There is no reason that this program needs to be average with the resources available to it.

LSU and Louisiana as a whole needs to quit acting like second class citizens and seize opportunity while it can be realized! Miles wasted opportunities throughout his tenure and the current administration continued the pattern with the hiring of 0.

I refuse to accept it when my alma mater continues to drop the ball by perpetuating the losing philosophy that you and so many others here have seemed to embraced.

What? A newborn baby could be named lsu's hc and people would still show up to watch lsu. It's in our dna.

OK... The EYE test tells ME that LSU looked dominant against teams they should have dominated... Miles had A Big issue doing this... AGAIN you are just pissed that this team looked better while playing for O than they did Miles....

Please point to coaches that have never had underachieving seasons.

You do realize that miles is by far the most successful coach in lsu history, right? He achieved those great numbers during the most dominant era of sec football ever.

What? Miles has just as many dominating performances as any coach.
You may want to actually go back and compare Orgeron's tenure when he actually had power at a program.

I was ready for miles to go. At least get someone in here that could unite the fan base. Well alleva threw a wrench in that plan.

I see youre wanting Ensminger to be our oc.
