its bullshite.

9 games across 2 seasons.

3 against teams that finished in the top 10.
It’s a great grouping for argument sake, terribly for the sake of actually showing that Les never recovered.

Maybe if he mixed a few more teams with 6 or less wins into that time period he’d have a better record.

nine games that bridged two seasons. It's still a nine game segment.

It's a sign that something is terribly wrong. And it was

But it’s 2 different seasons with 2 different teams.

And again, it all seems like more of a result of the schedule than “O turning things around.”

Whether you believe it or not, when and how you lose games in a season is more important than just losses in a season. LSU played terribly at the end of 2015, and when given a chance to correct it played horribly at the beginning of 2016.

You can argue all you want, but this is not disputable. Any coach on a run like that will be in trouble.

Hey, don't you know 10-3, 5-3 with a crappy offense is so much better than 9-3, 5-3 with a crappy offense in a weather shorten schedule.

But this is the year the team belongs to O. I have no idea who the team belonged to in 2017 and 2018.

It also started after a what? 7 game winning streak? O ever won 7 games in a row?

Didn’t he end 2016 3-2
Start 2017 3-2 end 2017 3-2
End 2018 3-2?
Oh had a 4 game streak of tough games.

Went 2-2

Like he just a master of spreading out his loses or just them not mattering in the end.

We lost most of those 5 games because we were a better team. 2015 Alabama and Ole Miss were top 10 teams. Arkansas you could say was a let down game from Bama sure, but they literally just beat Ole Miss the weak before and finished the season 6-1.

Doesn’t that matter too?

Louisville in 2016 was on a 2 game skid bs houston and Kentucky. We’re they a good team?

2016 Texas A&M lost 3/4 of their last 4 games before we played them.

Either it matters or it doesn’t but it seems to only matter when you want it to.

nah, it's because three bad losses in a row, at the end of a season, are worse than spreading across a season. Three losses in a row is catastrophic.

That's probably why there were 6 3 loss teams ranked above LSU in 2015

Are they bad losses when they’re 2 top 10 teams and a team that finished the season 6-1?

Or is losing 3 games in a row 1 time ina. Career basically it for you?

3 losses was too many. If he slipped a fricking 2-10 rice team in there and lost to Arkansas in week 4 it wouldn’t be any better.

And you know that.

Argue all you want, facts are facts. 3 losses in a row is worse than three losses spread out.

You'll learn.

Ionly in perception.

It’s a galaxy people buy into.

Ultimately 3 loses frick your season whenever they are.

Listen Les had to go.

But in my Mind it’s because we had 2 windows of opportunity that he could get through.

No matter how he slammed those doors shut. It was over.

I'll be honest: I don't get it. These coaching threads go on for days and days. 83 pages of fighting back and forth in a battle of opinions that no one will ever win.

Anonymous people fighting over something completely inconsequential. Very strange.

Nope. One loss can be a fluke. Three straight is a meltdown and a definite trend.

Particularly in November

3 losses aren’t a fluke.

Whether in a row or not.

1 loss can be a fluke but not If you sandwich it between two top 10 team?

Sorry dude. 3 in a row, in November is far worse than three losses over a season.

Just because you can't understand it doesn't make it untrue.

Except ultimately
I think Is has more to do with who you play

Look at our November opponents the last 3 years

7-6 Arkansas
9-4 Florida
8-5 A&M

4-8 Arkansas
4-8 Tennessee
7-6 A&M

2-10 Rice
2-10 Arkansas
9-4 A&M

And of course 0-3 vs Bama

Yeah we’ve “bounced back” but it’s not like we close strong. We beat weak teams and lost to anyone over 8-5

Absolutely. Miles lost 5 of 9 and this has been pointed out dozens of times.

One day you'll get it.

Yeah its a shame Miles didnt get to play rice,a shite arky team and an average a&m team after bama in 2015.

2015 played a 10 win ole miss team, a stout run defense(top10) in arky,and a&m.

No ,ill never get why youre perfectly fine with losing 4 and 3 games a season depending upon the coach.

In 2 years O has faced 3 teams with more than 7 wins in November and 2 of them are bama.

2017 November
Bama
4 win arky
4 win tenn
7 win a&m

2018 November
Bama
2 win arky
Rice
9 win a&m

He lost to everyone of them that were good enough to win more than 7 games.

9 game stretch Rodge blasts

Bama
8 win arky
10 win ole miss
Top 10 wisky
Top 10 Auburn.

the fact that youre fine with losing 3 and 4 games as long as they are spaced out is crazy.

Thats the exact opposite of a fact. Thats your opinion.

Losing 3 straight go top 10 teams and 8 win team is in no way worse than losing to 3 mid majors spread over the season.
