Apparently it was Alleva's opinion too because that's what got Les fired.

I'll be honest: I don't get it. These coaching threads go on for days and days. 83 pages of fighting back and forth in a battle of opinions that no one will ever win.

Anonymous people fighting over something completely inconsequential. Very strange.
We are engaged in a debate that holds our interest.

But NOT being interested, and STILL reading this shite? Now, THAT's very strange

Mile's last 5 games against Bama:

NC Game: Alabama 21 LSU 0
2012: Alabama 21 LSU 17
2013: Alabama 38 LSU 17
2014: Alabama 20 LSU 13 OT
2015: Alabama 30 LSU 16

O's 3 games against Bama:

2016: Alabama 10 LSU 0
2017: Alabama 24 LSU 10
2018: Alabama 29 LSU 0

I'll give ya the NC Game and the 2013 game as losses being "whipped badly", but the rest aren't any worse than the 3 defeats with o as head coach.

and he was struggling with crap teams like Ms State and Arkansas.

Miles history against Arkansas was damn near terrible. But his only lost against Miss. State was in 2014, and his last couple of years were tight games against Miss. State, but his only loss wan't as bad as the 2017 game and his 2015 and 2016 victories were just as good as last season's win against the bulldogs.

Added to that he was posting zero great wins.

Most people on here want to give o credit for "great wins against teams like Miami and Auburn. If that's the case, Miles had "great wins" against South Carolina, Texas A&M and Miss. State in 2012.

"Great wins" against TCU, Florida and A&M in 2013. "Great wins" against Wisconsin and Ole Miss in 2014. And "great wins" against Miss. State, Auburn and Florida in 2015.

I think you missed the mark with this statement as well.

24/7 class rankings:

2013: #6
2014: #2
2015: #3
2016: #2

To me, the O sycophants seem much more like “libtards”. Always vomiting our stupid political analogies for instance.

You're wrong again.

Three losses over a season is inconsistency. Three in a row, in November is a meltdown. Losing two more in September of the end the season is a pattern.

Evidently the decision makers at LSU also believe you're wrong.

So is a loss to Troy. And a historically bad loss to Miss St. But that was during a rebuild year (or is it a five-year rebuild plan? I can't keep up).

I agree

However it appears to be an anomaly unlike the three straight losses in 2015 which spawned the terrible Wisconsin game the next year.

No coach at LSU will survive 5 losses in 9 games.

Teams figured out if you stack the box, the LSU offense dies because of Brandon Harris. That's what happened. They averaged 16 points all of November 2015

Add to that a putrid offense and the appearance of bottoming out. Recipe for disaster...thus the firing.

Still should have canned Miles after the TAM victory...win be damned. It was what was best for the program at that time.

This guy has to be one of the biggest disappointments in LSU recruiting history.
To watch him during his HS career at Parkway (my alma mater BTW), you would have never guessed he would have been as colossal a failure as he was at LSU. It's mind-boggling.
He was unstoppable.

Well, the passing game finished 2014 ranked 108th, and 2015 ranked 106th.

And Les blamed the Players
