Most of the bitching in the last few pages has been about the D-line misses in recruiting as well. Pay attention homer.

See, this is you reverting to your old shitty self. We're talking about the offense and you post this nonsense.

I haven't read much of this nonsense. Am I not allowed to make my own arguments though?

11 to play 3 and the chicken littles are running around crying. Why am I not surprised?

How's it looking for 2020, which is the actual concern?

I haven't downvoted anyone but if you and your ilk have them they're richly deserved.

wasn't for lack of talent. Quality depth maybe, but Lawrence was a 5 star, Alexander and Fehoko were both high 4 star players.

That worries me. O is a great dline coach. I dont understand our dline isnt a strength under him.

Even with losing White and Greedy, I like the 2019 D (injuries not withstanding) better.

If the dline steps up losing white will be felt but not nearly as much if our dline doesnt stop olinemen from reaching the lbs free and clear.
White was a physical beast and could power his way through the oline's blocks laterally. Im not sure Divinity and phillips are able to withstand the oline on them like white but i could be wrong. I was very happy with both of their play last year.

Now take a look at that list for the following season. Remove the likely minimum of 5 leaving. Then you have 6 to play 3. That's concerning.

Orgeron has to absolutely nail down some big time recruits on the DL to not only add depth, but to keep the talent level up. He has not done this yet, so it is a reason to worry, until he does.

Yeah and you're not giving the new guy time to get a team together to compete for a championship. It's despicable

What do you want me to say? Boykin made a circus to score there at end for ND...it happens. State crushed the right side of our defense all night running the ball and we had stupid penalties...we lost.

Neither of those teams were pushovers. Are you now claiming that they were and that we should have won?

I'd prefer to not talk about them at all, but if you're going to make these kinds of excuses, I really don't want to talk about them.

How about we just focus on the 0 points in 8 quarters against the team that we need to beat?

So you are saying we should have beaten those two teams....handily? This is what you're implying. Neither game was a home game and we got a new coaching staff and you're expecting to whipe the floor with these guys.

Seriously? I'm not even going to say we should have lost either but you're acting like those two games were complete and total shockers! C'mon man.

Here's 2020 with current commits.

It clearly says 2020. I can't imagine that Roger would intentionally post something false unless people are creating controversy where it doesn't exist.

If that's the case and I suspect that it is then I stand by my chicken little comment.

Don't put words in my mouth. That state team was average at best. We should never have been dominated the way we were.

ND was nothing special that year, and 0 made some supremely pussy decisions that cost us the game. The offense was atrocious.

If the team can go 11-1 this year with the improvements that have been made, I’ll definitely say Coach O is crushing it.

I’ll say right now that he’s doing some good things, but I need to see that translate into more wins (like basketball has on the court) before I’ll say he’s crushing it.
