I have it on good authority that only the HC is responsible for recruiting, which is why when 0 was the recruiting coordinator it was still Les's fault for any deficiencies.

Yes, it was a problem. It's one of the main reasons Miles got fired. Why is Orgeron held to a different set of standards?

Kind of hard to ignore when he was fired for it.
Seems like some people would do well to remember that fact

And what relevance does it have to 0 getting shut out twice in a row at home?
Would have made you feel any better to score a safety or something just to say we scored you twit?
I'm not so worried about getting shut out as simply losing.
You fricks are looking for some kind of misplaced moral victory if you're bitching about not scoring. Who cares if its 29-0 or 29-7....its still losing to those
sister-humpers in crimson. That's would should matter the most.

No, what kind of stupid question is that?

getting shut out twice in a row at home should be incredibly worrisome when just about everyone else can at least get on the board.

Wut? We want to be able to actually win. This thread is the epitome of moral victories.

O never recruited QBs did he? Not than I'm aware of and had Les not consistently whiffed in this particular area we might have some more hardware to fight about.

OMG, you've gone full tard. When did you revert back?

Then why doesn't it matter to some of you?

We dont have legit dlinemen that commands a double team or even a chip blocker. Which is paramount when running a 3-4. Our 2018 lb corp's (white in general) ability to shed blocks put bandaids on the dline problem. Last year we gave up the most rushing yards per carry in over decade and it was a direct reflection of our dline not commanding the attention of the oline.
It wasn't for lack of talent. Quality depth maybe, but Lawrence was a 5 star, Alexander and Fehoko were both high 4 star players.
Now that Shelvin is taking conditioning seriously and getting Ika to add to NT depth we should be able to wear on OLs. Getting Chaisson back and sliding Divinity to FOLB will be huge as well. Even with losing White and Greedy, I like the 2019 D (injuries not withstanding) better.

No you fking liar, you're whining about getting SHUT OUT...that implies you're pissing and moaning about the score or lack there of.
You'd have a more valid argument just stating that you're tired of losing to Bama.
I'm tired of losing to Bama....PERIOD!! I dont care about the score in the sense that....I would have felt better had we scored.

How can we win if we don't score a point?

Pretty sure that much is obvious.

You can't win if you don't score. Getting shut out twice in a row is not exactly confidence inspiring, now is it?

My question is then....what the fuq is Aranda doing while we ARE NOT reloading on the D-line?
Doesn't he have any input or influence when recruiting for the D?
Is is all on O to recruit the D or what?
Serious questions...and I'll admit I don't follow recruiting as closely as most of you claim you d
I honestly dont follow it as much as i used to either but O is a dline guru and Aranda's specialty is supposed to be LBs. The entire defensive staff gets blame for having not difference makers on dline.
Chaisson should help with pass rush but we have to have guys that eat up space on the dline to be successful in a 3-4 against the run.

Do you realize that the score indicates issues that are yet to be fixed? We had a coach who couldn't beat Bama, because he refused to adapt to an offensive scheme that could do that. We come as close to anyone to matching up with the talent Bama has. So, scoring 0 against them, combined with looking terrible on offense YET again, suggest that the problem is not being fixed. So, why should anybody be ok with it?
Posted on 2/19/19 at 1:38 pm to RedTigerRulz
And I'm not reverting back to anything. I told you I didn't want O nor his butt-fk-buddy CSE either but we're stuck with them as of now.
O hasn't one one damned thing YET that he deserves to be fired for....I say again YET.
If he were to lose to Troy in year 5 then maybe. But shite happens sometimes...and that game was the perfect storm for them and us...ask Dabo about Cuse a few years ago.

You absolutely are.

Some would argue that getting shut out in consecutive home games would be enough. (ETA: Not saying I feel that way)

If you're going to play that off as one game, you force me to bring up State and ND from that year as well. I'd prefer not to, but if you force me to, well uh there it is.

No I don't buy this. There is a disparity on the lines that has already been pointed out. I don't believe Clemson is that much better than us on the lines but they have managed to out-scheme Bama with with some creativity on offense....something we will never get with CSE.
This is my one and only beef right now with O....An offense that still eerily reminiscent of Les.

I totally agree with this ...but DA needs to quit sitting on his hands and get involved.
Is he known for his recruiting prowess or what?

Then what the hell are you on here arguing about? That is every single persons problem that is arguing with you.
Nobody thinks Orgeron should be fired right now. Nobody thinks Miles shouldn't have been let go. The problem is the concern some people have that the offense is showing regression, instead of improving.

You have no fricking clue what youre talking about. The 2017 roster had the 2nd most nfl draft picks in cfb
If I remember right 4 defensive linemen took a hundred percent of the snaps during the MsState game. Does that sound like a team that's loaded with depth? Stop twisting shite and ignoring evidence that doesn't fit your little narrative. I know that you just like to argue but jesus christ it's not all about winning an argument.
