2015 ypg 437.3
0s 2 years
2017 - 411.1
2018- 402.1 with a 7 OT game
But somehow you keep claiming 2017 and 18 are better more productive offenses. Just like your 3 doesn’t equal 3 argument this is false. You just seem to disagree with facts at every turn.

109 and 108 nationally in passing in 2014 and 2015.
Averaging 16 pts a game over a month in which they went 1-3 including three blowouts in which we were not competitive
Evidently his bosses felt the forward pass needed to be brought back in order to be competitive again.

Yet they fired him after a 2-2 star not a season where we were 109 or 108th passing the ball.

They were going to, he promised it would improve
Well, it didn't

Total offense in 2015 with 39th. Twice as good as Oregon's most highly rated offense. You know this. You're trolling at this point dude.

Neither did the record
We averaged 150 yards passing in 2011
Ultimately it’s always about Ws and Ls and champships.
Anyone who is telling you anything else is an idiot.
Now would a passing game help our Ws and Ls? Yes of course. But running an injured running back between the tackles with Guice on the bench also didn’t help our 2016 campaign

Why was Miles almost fired in 2015? Hint: it's directly related to his offense.

I wouldnt say "crushing it" but he has helped make LSU a top 10 team once again. But i agree that one year doesnt make a trend , but i do see improvement and 2019 is shaping up nicely for another good season with a pretty good shot at being in the playoffs mix and another top 10 finish.

Bingo

Not to mention another post Bama collapse. Finshing 8-5, then starting 2015 on fire only to collapse again at the end of the season and opening up 2016 2-2 did him in. Ezpecially following rather ordinary 2012 and 2013 seasons where we finshed ranked in the mid teens.

Ill give Ed Orgeron 3 more years to prove my point. 3 more years and you, nor your mac address from any device you own, nor your IP address can ever post on Tiger droppings again if Ed doesn't at least win a conference title.
If he does win a conference title, I'll follow the same. I'll never post on this message board again.
That would make it to where Ed O has had 6 years as HC.
What do you say?

The 2015 offense averaged 6.7 yards per play, 2017 6.2 and 2018 5.5 so you’re wrong again. It doesn’t matter how you do it production and efficiency is what matters and 0s hasn’t been as good. Miles wasn’t fired in the season you keep referring to and that offense was better than any of 0s. He was fired in 2016 because he started 2-2 period. He wasn’t competing for titles anymore the passing game wasn’t held over his head like you’re saying.

Ed Orgeron doesn't care how many years you give him
The standard hasn't changed. The Tigers need to show offensive improvement and continue to stockpile talent, and close the gap with Alabama.
If he can't do that he will be fired and we will have the next man up.
Posted on 1/29/19 at 12:00 am to Madking
It wasnt just that he started 2016 2-2, he had also ended 2015 2-3. Althis after finishing 2014 8-5. Not to mention barely being over .500 in SEC Games his last 2.2 years

Oh really? Then why is he paying Derek Ponamsky a hefty salary every year to convince me and people like me to believe he's accomplishing anything significant? Clearly, Ponamsky doesn't have an affect on Joe Alleva correct?

I find it humorous that you say the word offense, and Alabama in the same sentence. LSU, under O's preferred Coordinator, has never scored a point against Alabama in 8 quarters.

First intelligent thing I've ever seen you state. How about next year? It will tie his years with Miles of losing versus Alabama?
Posted on 1/29/19 at 12:04 am to boxcar willie
There’s also a long history with he and Alleva that got worse after he duped Alleva into that last extension with the ridiculous Arkansas threat. Alleva believed he had Jimbo and that’s why he moved to can Miles in 2015. Finebaum has a story about it and mentioned it in interviews after Miles was fired. The 2015 thing wasn’t about offense it was about Jimbo and failing to compete. 2016 was the last straw, he refused to fire Cam and renovate the offense and the slow start triggered the rest.

Why was he almost fired?
You say ypthe offense was great, and we were winning (until going 1-3 in November)
So why?

Another phony narrative that these ppl drive is that fans don’t matter when in fact we are all that matters. If attendance drops the coach is fired period.

You're wrong. Google it. Miles thought he could charm his way out of his commitment to the boosters to develop an elite passing game.
BTW, the boosters were right. Clemson proved it.
And I'm a CheeriO. But if Coach O fails to vastly improve the pass game in the next couple seasons, he'll be gone too.
