He wasn't.

But he was fired two losses later.

Then we must be reading two different boards. I haven't seen that, but again I'm a little foggy today.

If he was fired because of offense why wasnt he fired in 2013 rodger?

We threw for 3000 yards, and two of the losses were by a total of 6 pts.

That's why.

Why wasnt he fired in 2015 rodger?
What happened that led to him keepong his job in between the beginning of the a&m game to the end?

Did he make promises to alleva during the a&m game?

F King blocked it. Alleva tried.

So the offense only matter if its passing right?
A very produtive running offense got him fired but a very productive passing offense is fine? Both with 3 losses.

Nah, he swears 5 losses in 9 games means nothing because they span two seasons

In reality, Miles was fired for losing five of nine and failing to improv the passing game.

When I do, I don't regurgitate a template like you. And I don't agree with everything Rick says. But I admit he's pretty good at putting you in your place.

Exactly.

Miles deserved to and wouldve been fired after a&m until fking overruled alleva because of optics with the states budget. Everyone knew it was bullshite but thats what saved miles' job.

Wrong.

But you can't lose 3 straight by blowout scores with an anemic passing game and not get your hand slapped.

1. Miles needed a QB to get over the hump.

2. Miles couldn’t get a QB because few QBs wanted to spend their collegiate years handing off in the I formation.

3. Miles refused to change.

4. Repeat point 1

In what universe have i ever said that losing those games was meaningless?

You just try tk act like its totally fine for o to lose 3 and 4 games as long as it not in a 9 game stretch.

Stop lying. Im arguing that losses cost him his job. Youre not.

Two years ranked in the bottom 20%.

Terrible.

But when you factor in the losses in the year prior to those 2 years, that's when the issue comes in. That's the point. Had the 2014 team won 12 or 13 games, do you still think those 5 losses would have gotten him fired?

Our most used formation im 2015 was a 3 wr set.
The myth that miles lined up in the o all game is a regurgitated rant myth.
2015 ranks as one of the seasons with highest % of plays in shotgun for lsu.

Miles' offensesive problems can be directly attributed to attacking a teams defensive strengths.
One of the dumbest things ive ever heard a coach say.

So you're saying 10 losses in 2.4 years got him fired.

I can buy that

However we are probably alone, sadly

It’s not about 2 or 3 losses per year. It’s about the obvious need to get better QBs and Miles’ inability to recruit them. LSU would’ve forever been in the pattern of just being a QB away from challenging.
