Why do you keep repeating this silly arse nonsense? That was not the basis for his hiring nor is it anyone's criteria for how he is to be evaluated. This is just your continued, tired narrative.

That's all he knows, 5-6 sentences and he repeats them hundreds of times

Ahh.. there it is. Earls still got a thang for the former coach and can't stand anyone's who's already let go.

Roger, I"ve repeatedly stated that Miles should have been canned at the end of the 2015 season.

You're in every one of these fricking threads. Out of the dozens of times I've said it, you had to see it.

If I had my way, he would have never been fired, at least til seasons end..

Sounds to me that you should just give it up Roger.

I saw the writing on the wall concerning Miles in November of 2015. You wanted to give him the entire 2016 season.

Well the what other narrative describes a 10-3 season as "awesome," "crushing it," "great season," with O and a 10-3 season with Miles as underachieving?

Try telling your boss that ypu are making a major change 3 or 4 years in a row - and blow it off every year. How would that work out.

Myth. The man stood in front of a throng of reporters and stated that while there might be some minor changes, Fournette was the engine that made the offense go.

I would have had more respect for him if he would have just said "I'm not changing a god damned thing and if you don't like it tough shite."

That’s true, but anyone who thought Guice wouldn’t be the centerpiece of the offense in 2016 was fooling themselves. It wasn’t because of anything Miles promised.

Miles offense contributed to the losses at the end of his tenure. The two go hand in hand and are the reasons he was fired. I don’t know why people want to argue as if it’s either or.

How do you know there were no changes? Because we lost?

That's simple-minded logic.

I watched the games.....the eye test seemed to confirm that notion at the time.
He still liked to run into stacked boxes and call up single receiver routes.

His play calling on down-distance situations was abysmal at times.

Meet the new improved offense (AKA the old offense) kind of thing.
To say otherwise or that there were noticeable changes is foolhearty.

That was the frustrating part. All offseason waiting for changes...then we fell flat in game one.

FACT... I always liked when the WHOLE offense HAD to look to the sideline to know what to do.................

I didn't say that. You know my stance. 3 losses again and yes, we should probably part ways. Last season was good enough to buy him this season. But that's about all it was. It gave no confidence in actual, long term high performance.
