True

Will never happen again though. It was a freak thing. 2011 was a much better regular season

Miles had some major luck over the years. Just a matter of time before it would eventually run out.

Eh, outside of 2007, think his teams reflected the talent. 2006 should have been a championship year though. That group was freaking loaded

there will bee dips in the future , no path is down hill all the way , if the fans stay with the team , the dips will be short if they freak out and start tearing the team down we will have what we just had !

In Les' coaching career at LSU ('05 to '16) he had a grand total of six Olinemen drafted. That's a twelve year span. Maybe one or two tops was a legit OT. Recruiting OTs was his MAJOR fail point at LSU.
And so far would you say Coach O has done anything to fix LSU's lack of OT's? As of right now the only true OT prospect LSU has is Dare Rosenthal. He has yet to take a snap there for LSU, and there are no blue chip OT's in this recruiting class. The only possible OT is Parker, and there are signing concerns with him right now.

I disagree that "Coach O Is Crushing It," but I will not downvote a fellow fan with an optimistic outlook.

But now 10-3, 5-3 is labeled as crushing it or great.

Well that's funny. It's almost like you're saying you can't simply look at a record and conclude that a certain standard (such as progress) had been met.

Nah, you're just st terrible at simple conversation

The OP was including this years recruiting, helping to retain current players and the new hire in his definition

I guess everyone has a different definition and it's open to interpretation. I feel what O is doing of late appears to have the program "headed in the right direction". I translate "crushing it" as actual results on the field and competing for championships (IE- beating Bama).

Yeah I've akready stated that "crushing" seems rather hyperbolic

Camer Wire was a 4* OT in the '18 class, also. Redshirted along with Rosenthal.

As for the incoming class Bradford and Perry are both 4* OT prospects.

I'm in line with your thinking.

All of the off season "crushing" is theoretical and means little. Only thing that ultimately matters is how it translates to the field.

I would think "crushing it" is heavily weighted towards on field performance.
