Absolutely this.

We were good enough to do a lot better

QBs don't get spelled in such games.

And no one else passed out from exhaustion after that game and needed EMTs

The defense played well enough to beat Bama. We could have been undefeated with half the offense we have now.

Burrow was elite vs UCF and almost broke single game records

Way to minimize his accomplishment.

No, because it's irrelevant. Burrow is clearly talented enough to do better than he did last year.

B: OMG! Burrow was wasted last year!

RTS: Burrow but himself near the top of the record bookstore year with an inexperienced WR group

LB: ONG! That doesn't matter! Shift argument!

Again just typing words and hoping to make a point.

Burrow was elite

or Wr were elite

UCF's defense wasn't elite

thats a great receipe for a lot of yards

the problem was when we played a team with a few good defenders.

Burrow was not running this offense in high school. The passing concepts we’re running come from Sean Payton’s offense not some simple high school offense. We do run a handful of RPOs and that’s what he ran but the reason this offense is having this level of success is because of the passing game not RPOs.

No, too many drops

Experience of working together is immeasurable, that's what you're seeing with Borrow and his WRs. And yes, the new routes are a factor in the improvement too.

how many games were there in last season?

you don't think throwing a bunch of yards vs Florida or Alabama last year you have helped?

You don't think there was any way we coudl have thrown more than 16 TDs?

62 QBs threw more TDs than our heisman candidate last year.

Offense improved the last month of the season, experience had a lot to do with it.

You don’t understand Roger! We should have won it all last year! Everything happens in a vacuum! Add Brady to said vacuum and that vacuum wins the National championship!

I think Brady will do great things here. He wasn't ready to be OC however.

I was told by certain people in the offseason that if we have to rely on him this year to succeed we are screwed.

We scored 0 vs Bama
and 24 vs Arkansas which had a scoring defense in the 100s

That happened inteh last month of the season

You jsut want to see a trend from a game vs Rice a 2-10 team with the 112th scoring defense
a 7 OT game against A&M where were only scored 24 in regulation, and a game against a completely over matched UCF that gave up 40 points to Temple, 41 to Memphis and 35 to Florida Atlantic.

If it was all experience you would expect out production to get slowly better but it didn't

Simply put, our offensive output had a lot more to do with the quality of our opponent than experience (except for a few games where we also stunk vs bad opponents)

College football doesn’t track drops officially. His opinion comes from faulty information provided by Buckeye and used to place the blame for Burrows poor completion percentage last season on the WRs instead of Joe.

Yes, because 400 yard games are so common despite the opponant. If the opponent was the sole issue, why didn't he throw for 400 vs Southeastern?

They just grow on trees!

And that was a more traditional offense.

Borrow threw 10 of his 16 TDs in the final 4 games and his passer rating skyrocketed.

He didn't throw for 400, so...
