Ed walked away because LSU told him to. You think he would have voluntarily done that?

Orgeron wasn't the coach either, but he gets blamed for the roster Kelly inherited and the record for that season.

Fair enough, I thought you were referencing the win loss record of BK.

Probably but he got paid the whole contractual amount with no questions asked.
The amount was much lower than Kelly’s because we bought O in the bargain basement of coaches.

Coach O was fired. If it were up to him he would still be coaching LSU today.

Short term delusional memory

What makes you think he ever had any to begin with?

That guy saw a sucker deal, jumped on it and came here full well knowing it was nothing more a free ticket to retirement. It’s just that simple.

Why does Coach O’s name keep coming up? He was the coach here, won a Natty with some generational players and was surrounded by some responsible adults. In combination of those adults leaving, him not be able to cope with success and thinking with his johnson, he was relieved of his duties. He’s not coming back as the HC at LSU so can we just move on.

He’s also the reason why there was an opening at LSU when BL was hired.

Ed was offered full buyout the day is was fired. There was nothing for him to fight for.

He fought his ex-wife in court over money. You think he would not have fought LSU if they didn't pay him?

Technically, to the letter of the law? Yes.

But as to the spirit of the law? Absolutely not.

Unfortunately, the letter of the law is all that matters.
