I know it's gotten so bad that we have to hide all of our LSU gear for fear of ridicule. Oh the shame of it all.

We don't know if he will work out or not, but it sounds like you are rooting against him which is really rooting against LSU.

I don't like the way Alleva handled this "coaching search" but I am also a LSU fan first and will be rooting for his success.

People are really sleeping on this guy. So unfair to judge him on what he did 10 years ago at Ole Miss. People fail to realize some of the great coaches this guy coached under and with.

I think he'll do fine with good coordinators...not great but ok. LSU currently recruits itself but a couple of bad seasons and that could change.

With all of this being said we'll have to wait and see until real adversity hits the program... and it will. The fanbase has been easy on him so far because of the "interim" tag.

The recruits who have committed since him signing seem to understand him well, and so do his current players.

The people in this thread who said that, are either joking, or didn't watch the interview. It was all class. Both sides.

I only wish this would have happend a year ago so we could have seen Kiffin or Helfrich utilize Jeter and Smith more. I feel bad for those two specifically because I have always thought they had NFL talent that wasn't used here

hey it is countless players who have went under miles system who underachieved only to get to the nfl and "ball" out. kwon alexander. deion jones. Russell sheppard. ware with Kansas city. its others also but you get the ideal of what im saying. have a strong off season drafted or not if they get on a roster they will shine. jalen mills starting for the eagles and he was drafted 7th rd. miles failed these boys. geaux coach o.

Great interview !!1st time in years our coach went on ESPN and I understood what he said instead of a bunch of gibberish and saying nothing. The man knows what he's talking about. /// As for as Ole Miss Hugh Freeze says O was let go a year to early, he took the job the cupboard was BARE, lack of talent, and after 3 strong recruiting classes he was fired before he got to see the fruits of his labor. So far so good !!!!lets give the guy a chance

Because he coached for all of them Before he went to Ole Miss. So clearly the experience did not help him coach.

Kwon did not underachieve at LSU. Debo had a great year last year. Jalen Mills was a starter from day 1 at LSU. What are you talking about??

Good interview. They were very respectful to Coach O and seemed to genuinely think it was a good hire.

I give you jalen mills but he was picked 7th rd that is where I was coming from. his senior yr was terrible with lsu but debo only started his senior yr so how does a player of his quality only get a look his senior yr? coaches have to had notice his talent and don't give me the he was too small argument because he was the same size from his jr to sr yr. ijs. just like dj chark how does the dude only get one touch his sophomore yr and if miles was still the coach he wouldn't be playing this yr. that's what im talking about.
