Sad to see him go.

Coach Moffitt was responsible for me getting a job with the athletic department when I was at LSU in 2002. He was friends with my aunt and gave me a hook up. He was a legit nice dude.

Congrats on getting a job based on your aunt banging moffit

Fickle would have been a better hire. He was a part of those teams.

I cant imagine the grind it takes to get after it day in and day out at an elite program like LSU. Alot will have their opinion about Moffitt but considering how many NFL ready players have come through LSU in the last 20 years during his tenure tells you everything you need to know about that guy. Much appreciation for the work he put in at LSU and we have 3 championships during his tenure. Absolute respect

He’s going to go somewhere else now & win a championship.

I'm not so sure. He's been in BR for so long & has been doing this stuff for 20+ years straight. I think he may hang it up & enjoy his retirement.
Lord knows he's got enough money

Exactly. A full refresh needed. And that's nothing at all against Coach Moffitt.

While I think this move is best, I respect and thank him for his service and dedication to the Tigers.

I agree with Lester. This isn’t a great start firing a man who has been the mainstay of LSU football for 25 years.

Jesus…Coach Kelly is probably already sick and tired of LSU fans.

Coach Moffit was a plus for LSU, BUT for the last 5 years his program has suffered from poor conditioning. After the NC "O" wanted to swap to a 4/3. He felt the 3/4 was not getting pressure on the QB. In fact, the conditioning of our line on both sides of the ball was a glaring issue. O line got beat all the time and the d line were made fools of by Bo Nix and others. It is time for a coach that has our lines ready to play for 60 minutes not 45.
