He said it after the first field goal and after the touchdown drive. It makes sense that he is calling the plays, but I just thought it was telling.

so...what ya saying is that Stud is OC in name only?

Or a Co-OC?

either way, I like the way the offense looks so far...

IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!

Everyone knows that Les is calling all the plays. Its obvious because of how similar the offense looks this year to last year.

Oh, wait . . . what?

I do wonder sometimes, though, with the studs we have on offense why we don't produce more yards and points, but we have a short field a lot of the time with the defense and we struggled in the Red Zone last week and had to settle for field goals, which happens to everyone. So, I'm patient.

Still, the offense looks light years ahead of last year.

I don't know anything, I just saw the coach on his headset after a score say "nice job Steve"

That is it. I feel like Stud is the OC and Krags is the QB coach. I feel like Krags likely calls more plays than Stud and that he handle the political aspects of that job (recruiting, speeches, touring the state's high schools, etc).

If they keep winning, it could be Stud, Krag, and a monkey named Bo-Bo in the box calling plays.

I always thought that the change from OC to QB coach was just a PR move. It probably takes some of the pressure off of Krags and will definitely take some of the media/fan pressure off of him if the Offense falters. The fact that he is up in the booth and sitting right by Stud makes it fairly obvious that he still has input into play calling.

He may have given up some of his control, but I have little doubt that he still has plenty of input into the play calling. Probably a Co-OC with Stud.

I stated a couple times that it was my understanding that Krags would still be calling the plays but the move was done to move him out of the spotlight. Coach Stud is in the booth now to help and learn. If Krags is unable to call plays for a game due to health reason Stud steps right in.

Move was primarily done to move Krags out of the spotlight with very minimal interviews if any. Stud has been doing all the OC interviews after the game. Krags may have a little speach slur in the future so this was done in prep for that.

Did you actually hear him say it? I didn't, but couldn't it have easily been "nice drive Stud"?
