I hope so, but to paraphrase Bobby Knight talking about Dale Brown, I feel pretty good about the offense until I look at the sideline and see Orgeron.

No. You asked a question and I answered it. Don't get mad at me because you don't know about recent LSU history.

I'm not mad at you. I was just wondering because the idiot I replied to seemed to be in a massive breakdown over it. I figured it was a lot more than ONE WR who had more catches over the last 15 years.

A head football coach talks to a large crowd for over 30 minutes without everything he is going to say fully written out and forgets to mention one small detail is actually pretty damn good.

I've seen people very familiar giving speeches who forget to say stuff and everybody is like WTF? What about this and that? That's what everyone wanted to hear. The speaker was probably thinking the same thing realizing everything they forgot to mention.

This is just another case of morons on this board looking for the most minute detail to be miserable over and cry about.

we gon be da USC/spread/Saints/Eagles/Rams/Patriots offense

"Orgeron devised a contrived offense at Ole Miss, combing parts zone-blocking with USC’s two-back system and Noel Mazzone’s passing offense. It. Did. Not. Work."

I guess we'll have to wait and see if history repeats itself yet again.

O knows what people want to hear for sure.

The problem has never been "different," the problem is truly "productive," and game-changing. I don't care if we have the blandest 12-play only offense on earth if we are winning games and moving the ball consistently.

But O knows that if he says this people are going to think he's "a genius," and that the excuse will be, like it was with Canada, "Well, you wanted a different offense so O gave you one. That's all that matters. Who cares if we lost big games, we averaged 60 points on our OOC foes. So yeah, this offense is awesome."

Last season LSU had a game where a WR did not catch one pass.

Is that a good thing?

Freaking hilarious. Tell you what football genius, try watching a game or two this season, it helps cut down on stupid comments made during the offseason.

I've tried to refrain from calling you a dipshit and a moron in the past, but damn.

You are a dipshit and a moron.

I feel confident the ratio of upvotes to down votes on this post will be quite large. Something like "a whole bunch to 1", with the 1 downvote belonging to you.

Muh Broyles finalist.

If a Broyles finalist had the offense performing like that what is a non-Broyles finalist going to do under Orgeron?

Why? Because I am smart enough to realize that Eaux said the offense would be different last season and it most definitely was?

Or am I a dipshit and a moron because you said this after you apparently slept through all of last season?

Question was directed to Ree.

He took every opportunity to tell us we had a Broyles finalist for OC last season. If someone with those type of credentials couldn't flourish here why does he have lofty expectations for Slinger, who was not a Broyles finalist?
