Possibly but they will have to pay a premium for him. He even said (paraphrasing) how the departure was rough on he and his wife

He was OC for Jeff Scott for those years. But of note he’s done well under Kiffin and Sark and is very young to determine being under others or as a HC himself.

He will definitely be hired for a major College in next year or so. He is that good. You also have to worry about who he may take from this staff with him when it happens.Blake Baker will be a HC as well.

Keeping some of these coaches on the staff, after this season, is going to be tough. Especially Baker. I think some team will want him as HC. Weis will undoubtedly be a HC candidate as well. This staff is really good. I’d love for them to stay together for at least a couple of years. But in CFB, stuff changes so much, and so fast, there’s no telling what’s gonna happen.

When we win a National Championship, the program will be gutted. That’s how it works. We’ve seen it before. Hopefully we keep Lane and he knows how to rebuild better than Orgeron did.

Yeah you right... Maybe that's why he has so many coaches. On the roster now
