I think he is back peddling so it does not hurt him going forward in the draft. If House really asked him if he is done, then just slinked away when one of his leaders says he is leaving, then House is more of a turd than I thought.

I think what’s worse reading between the lines is ND fans said Brian Kelly wasn’t involved with their program like they wanted him to be, idk but imo it looks like this is what we are seeing here as well. I could be wrong though and hope I am, just getting hints of this. There is a reason though why he could never win any games of the big games he played. If this is the case though then he really needs a coach that will be a strong leader for the team because he might not be.

Hypothetically, House could legit be a victim of circumstance and poor luck — it wouldn’t matter at this point.

NOLA 12/29 article Doesn't sound like many defensive players were pleased with how the unit played all season. Several defensive players quoted with concerns for not being traditional stingy physical LSU defense. Record setting offensive highs and record setting defensive lows. Is the Wingo clip with DCMH another expression of more of the same dissatisfaction or embarrassment after surrendering over 500 yds offense to…..Wisconsin?!?

It has been documented by people PLENTY OF TIMES, that Kelly has spent a lot of time in the defensive rooms trying to see how to improve the defense.
