Pretending Clemson isn’t good won’t influence the outcome of the game.

This is the monkey Kelly needs to get off his back, there are no excuses this year.

None that really matters. LSU is playing them at home and I would argue they will be toughest opening game opponent we have faced since the losing streak started. Only team that was good was 2023 FSU.

I’ll hold judgement until after the game.

2020-miss st
2021-UCLA
2022-FSU
2023-FSU (close)
2024-USC

Are you aware that Dabo's last 2 season openers resulted in a combined losing margin of 62-10?

I’m not buying the Clemson hype. That being said, it’s the first game of the season, and weird shite happens.

Dabo, when I looked across the field, I just smiled.

If they only played games on paper.

You are making the mistake I did back in 2002 when on paper it looked like we'd kick the crap out of (or at least be competitive) against Virginia Tech in Blacksburg. Because of the roster, coaches, etc. I just knew we'd win, was there in the stands. But Saban and the Tigers were outclassed from the opening kick. Tech was fired up to play.

I casually did this again when we opened against FSU a couple of years ago. All the pundits said we'd win. They were all wrong.

Get your hopes up at your own peril.

Yep, BK has to break through it this season. No excuses losing to FSU and USC.

Clemson will be a real test at their place. Coaching will matter!
