Dobbins might be the first back taken in the draft lol. That was incomplete going by what the officials and the expert that ESPN has in the booth lol. Could have went either way imo.

He racked up 200+ yards of offense while playing half the game injured. CEH will have a similar stat line.

Just throw it over the middle. We haven't been able to cover that since I can remember. Teams always go away from it tho.

He is a good back but not on Dobbins level. Dobbins had 2 big runs to get his stats which were impressive. We will have to play better against the run early that is for sure.

He's producing at nearly the exact same level. Only difference is LSU doesn't lean on CEH the way tOSU does on Dobbins, so he has 102 fewer carries.

Go check the tape of the Alabama and Georgia games if you want to see what happens when you don't account for him.

LSU's entire offense is based on attacking the middle of the field. We won't go away from it.

I believe #24 made the final INT that sealed the game, but he was getting abused all game long. tOSU got him twice on the same play about 15 minutes apart, and if the WR doesn't misread things, LSU is likely playing tOSU on the 13th.

Clemson is solid at all levels of the defense, and that is their strength IMO. Outside of Simmons, I don't think they have a player that will be able to completely shut down his assignments. They generally don't make mistakes, but that is because they haven't faced strong teams all year until tOSU.

OSU was gashing them in both phases, and honestly if Fields is a little more accurate on a couple of passes, the game is out of hand at 24-0 in the second quarter.

LSU's offense is AS good if not better than tOSU's, so I think it should be an interesting game.

I think he is a dang good back. I watched him do work against Bama. I am not taking anything away from him. He is a better pass catcher than Dobbins but as a runner he is not on the level of Dobbins. It's okay to like your guy tho I have no problem with that.

It's really weird how, with all of these major flaws, Clemson has the # 1 defense in the country

well let's just say they have a high football IQ and really good motors.

That wouldn't be a problem if they brought their lunch pails too. Are you saying they don't have lunch pails?

ACC is 4-6 in bowl games this year and 2 of the wins are against group of 5 schools. Louisville squeaked out a win against a team that shouldn’t have even been in a bowl game had ole miss not gotten a ridiculous penalty. Flawed stats. Hope you like crow.

I think Simmons will be used quite a bit at FS to help with the weakness at nickle/slot DB.
As others have said this will match Moss or CEH on a subpar cover guy and Burrow is too good at finding his fish.

We will see an amazing chess match between Brady/Ensminger and Venerables. I cant wait to see what pressures Clemson uses and how Burrow attacks them.

Conversely I am very curious to see how Clemson's Oline fairs against 3 man front that weighs almost as much as their 5. (Exaggerating yes just go with it) Lawrence, Shelvin and Fehoko will be the biggest they have seen this season by everything I have been able to find.

I believe LSU wins the national title. But I do want to point out the fact that even though Clemson schedule wasn't as good that they absolutely blew out everyone in the last half of the season. This will be an absolute slugfest even though I hope LSU does them in early. I do believe that the LSU offense will score way more on Clemson than they are used to. I also think the Clemson can put up some points too. LSU's biggest weakness on defense is the Run game but generally they jump out so far head teams have to throw and become one-dimensional. If LSU can slow down Clemson and defer to the second half then I believe LSU wins by two touchdowns. But I see it being more likely that LSU wins by 1 score

We have played 4 of the top 30 Os not including OSU and held them to under 10 points. Ofcourse the ACC isn't that good this year but we would run through the SEC as well.

If we don't test Simmons too much passing, we'll destroy them.

Simmons playing 'robber' technique will be rendered useless with Moss making him commit. Moss makes this offense vs their defense different. OSU didn't use their te enough. Moss is a legit threat.
