Four star dual threat coming out of high school in GA. Has great size at 6’2” 220lb. I don’t think he’ll start over Myles but at least will add depth and he’s much better than the kid from riverside who jumps when he passes. We’re getting dangerously thin at QB.

So he was a RS this year at Clemson? So he would have 3 to play 3? Might be a decent option if he wants to come here.

Is he transferring due to lack of potential playing time? If so, not sure why he would want to come with Brennan being a soph and Narcisse being a RS frosh.

He was a RS freshman at Clemson.

Umm what? Look at my post history- I love Myles and think Lowell could be great under the right coach but neither has proved a damn thing. We have a very good oline and maybe the most talented WR’s in the country if we land chase.

He’s probably transferring because they signed the number 1 recruit in the country, who happens to be a QB and a damn good one.

I would love to bring him in

Don’t get defensive bro. I just said if he’s transferring due to playing time, there is still young competition here. I like the idea though if we can’t sign Foster.

Lmao. Do what? How did a shitty oline turn into a very good oline?

By getting the number 1 Juco offensive tackle and 1 Juco Guard . Keep up a-hole . Not to mention we have a bunch of freshman who played their arse off this year and a lot of depth coming back .

Coaching would be my first guess. My second guess would be experience. Lastly, a combination of the two.

Their other back-up QB will probably want to transfer after Spring too.

If Lawrence beats him out (expected).

And THAT kid is the one we want. 6'4 5* prostyle.

Only in the deluded minds of LSU cheerleader types is that possible.

The OL went from "Very Bad" to "Mediocre" during the season. They didn't even approach "The Meds" at pass blocking.

That little bit of improvement makes them very good in the minds of those living in a perpetual P&G infused dream state. No Will Clapp either. Never seen a decent OL without a legitimate Center.

Better hope that Cregg is a Miracle Worker with TF Cole Smith and that Deculus is moved to Center in the Spring.

Deal in reality people, not fantasy. Spooky/Scary situation there, all due to pathetic Miles/Grimes recruiting............

You should try to follow LSU football one day. If you did, you would know that Lloyd Cushenberry 6'4" 316# - who was a First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll is a center and has been in the program for two years counting his redshirt season.

NOLA:
"LSU's Lloyd Cushenberry draws praise for work at center in spring drills

LSU could have more than one player positioned to fill the center spot vacated by graduated three-year offensive line starter Ethan Pocic.

Rising redshirt freshman Lloyd Cushenberry has made a positive impression during the first four weeks of spring practices. The Dutchtown product has manned the position in place of expected starter Will Clapp as he rehabs from a shoulder procedure done after the 2016 season.

"You don't want guys hurt and not practicing, but we're developing depth," LSU coach Ed Orgeron said. "(Cushenberry) is a legit football player right now. Obviously we believe Will Clapp will be our starting center right now, but (Cushenberry) can go in there and perform at a high level. This has been an outstanding spring for him.""

"He's gotten better every day," Clapp said of Cushenberry. "He was definitely nervous when he first started but he's really taken to the position. He's the leader and he has a lot of responsibility with the new offense. He's made all the right calls and he's having everybody on the right page."

This dude sucks. Playing for Jacksonville St.

Thank god no one listens to anyone on this board.

ETA: just noticed who started this thread and how much he’s been so sure of how LSU will be terrible this year.....he knows his football

Still not starting. Perhaps you should copy and paste something from another source.

No need to sign him. Burrow has 2 years .. Myles 3. We have parish and Finley committed 2019-2020. We good at qb imo

Scouting report says he’s strong n the pocket. That’s the key for me. In E’s offense the qb must be able to throw from the pocket. He will run some bootlegs and some read option & RPO’s but majority of the passing will be 3-5 step drops

Wow, somebody earmarked this with a little malice.

The kid's stat line today, btw:

24-38, 320 yards, 2 TDs, 1 int

No. He wasn’t good most of the game. The second half there was a lot of over the top throws.

There were some throws on his part that were Jordan Jefferson-esque

Matter of fact, that may be a solid comparison.
