SMU shouldn’t even be in this conversation.

An ACC-admitted SMU in the NIL era? They have ALL the Dallas money behind them.

Of course. Every fan base has a culture and seeing it in its natural element is part of the fun of traveling.

Verge has been getting the boudin put to him on all of these “home and home” series where the Tigers always travel there first. Return games haven’t been coming back

What series are outstanding?

Texas doesn’t count because it was the conference realignment that killed that, not a school not honoring an agreement. It was scheduled and up the following year but was one of multiple games cancelled.

Well when you’ve lost five straight openers in a row opinions can change

You can't just choose to play week 0 games unless you meet certain requirements.. otherwise everyone would do it and have 2 BYE weeks during the regular season

Then let's start scheduling Hawaii or some international game against Miami in Mexico City

The crazy thing about our opening blockbuster type games is that every time we get them on our schedule it’s their best team in decades.

Florida State was only good when we played them. They sucked before and after.

Clemson has their best team since 2019 and many saying they are number 1 this year.

What do you mean “always”? How often do you think LSU is playing in these home and homes?

When was the last good out of conference home game LSU has had. Not counting the UCLA game that was blistering hot? Was it Virginia Tech or West Virginia? The neutral site games has ruined good home OOC games.

How many LSU fans would make the trip to Dallas? If the information is cited was correct, the number of LSU fans that would make the trip is about 120% of the 32,000 capacity of Gerald Ford Stadium. Undoubtedly they will expand the stadium, but by how much and when?

I think so much misinformation and propaganda was spread by our awesome government that we will never know what was out and what was not.

I remember spending a couple of months in the Dominican that had no breakout. I asked one of the resort managers why he thought the Dominican was exempt from the breakout and hysteria. His answer, simple, we don’t have TV.

Still waiting on that Texas return trip.

As i understand it, when Texas joined the SEC, that series was cancelled so there will be no "return trip". I hope that whenever Texas lands on LSU's schedule the first game is in Tiger Stadium, but the signed home-and-home is no longer.

I hope that LSU remembers to put their band in the upper east whenever we do get Texas at home.
