Clemson fans dismiss ACC as weak

But we do have a common opponent and they never do a comparison of those numbers.
Had Clemson played TAMU at the end of the season instead of the 2nd game, Would it have made a big difference in the outcome?

Yeah, that conference isn't weak. Yet, every non-Clemson team has at least 5 losses.

I think these scores tell you in general about how good Clemson is:
Clemson 45, Florida State 14
Florida 40, Florida State 17

I know people will hate to hear this, but I am an LSU fan and still hold this belief...
FCS teams never complain about schedule strength, and that is highly due to the fact that they have had a 16-24 team playoff for as long as I've been living...

Lsu would’ve been in the playoffs the last 4 years too if they played in the ACC. Clemson fans act like Lsu caught lightning in a bottle this year and that’s the only reason we’re good. Fact is, we did catch lightning in a bottle this year, and that’s why we’ll beat them. We can’t be stopped this year, but that doesn’t mean an average Lsu team couldn’t have done what Clemsons done in the ACC for the last 4 years as well. The American could replace the ACC as a P5 football conference!

A. Transitive property has never ever worked that way in college football.
B. yeah it probably would have made a difference. Just like had we played them early would have made a difference. Clemson, much like us, got better and better as the season progressed. A&M well, didn’t.

I think that is a stretch.
Their record was not great but with the exception of LSU they showed up against top 10 teams for a half.
