Rewatching the games of the season and I get to Alabama. That game was probably the most cathartic thing I've ever experienced as a sports fan. Up there with LSU/Oklahoma as a young teen experiencing the reality that LSU was a program the can contend for titles after being a kid in the 90s just thinking our peak was spoiling someone's season (Florida 1997) and making a bowl game a beating Notre Dame or something (Rondell Mealey TYFYS). Or even the Saints winning a motherfricking Super Bowl after being the league's doormat for so long.
But that Alabama game, after the streak that Bama had. And to win in Tuscaloosa. And there were times before where we were that close to beating them and shenanigans happened for us to lose.
The sequence of events at the end of the first half where Clyde goes over the pile, Queen picks off Tua, and then the TD throw again to Clyde made me gasm. Almost the same way the Saints onside kick in the SB and ensuing drive ending with the Thomas TD made me gasm.
So glad we finally beat those frickers and honestly the highlight of the season was going there and hanging the most points an opponent has scored ever in BDS. This is the season we're going to tell stories about to our kids and grandkids. Enjoy it, embrace it folks. This is legend

Baseball is a disappointment but I think the pelicans are still on the uptick to make the playoffs this year and if they get another good draft pick next year should be fun
