They are as queer as a $2 bill, so that makes sense.

That’s kinda cool. Do they just get a stack of 2$ and stamp them prior to going to away games

I think $3 bill is what you’re looking for.

Yes.... says if you wait till Thursday banks are totally out. Says its there way of leaving their mark and wherever they travel has clemson printed $2 floating around for months.

Different for sure... kinda cool.

My son was tipped $40 in Clemson $2 bills over the weekend. Good bunch of students.

The Clemson $2 bill tradition started in 1977 as an economic protest when Georgia Tech decided to end its annual football series with Clemson in Atlanta.

They do this to try and "prove" how much Clemson fans impact a local economy when they travel.

We have a similar tradition, but instead of putting stamps on legal tender we just empty out the bars of their booze supplies.

Two guys gave a table one at the restaurant Friday night. Every Senior gets a $2 bill stamped with Clempson print and framed. They go to away games with a pocket full of them and give them to folks who were friendly or made a lasting impression on them. They want them spent in Baton Rouge just to spread their love for our city etc. and to leave a little love everywhere they go. That was their story. And for the record these guys were very respectful to those folks. It was ma’am and Sir to everyone. I thought it was cool. Then I also enjoyed winning Saturday night.

For the most part every clemson fan I interacted w was nothing but class. Only except was 2 different guys who were hammered at the chimes on Friday...one got cut off thrown out and ended up passing out on highland and needing an ambulance...the other has his friend feeding him water shots yelling him it was rumplemintz..... it was...something lol

There was a very large contingent of Clemson fans at Chimes around Noon on Saturday. I’d say at least 50-60 of them. Mix college and old Alums. All were very nice. They started handing us beers. A waiter came up to us later and said his interactions with them all weekend is top 3 (amongst other university fans) he’s ever interacted with. Major props to them.

Yea...aside from some dudes who couldnt hold their liqour, everyone I met was great and classy. They were kinda worried about hostility and I said look man... yall gonna get tiger baited but it wont be bad... yall should get fed better than yall have ever been fed before. I hope that panned out.

I know there were 3 different groups I explained what boudin was...got them to order boudin balls and bought a few of them a few pints of Abita. Was a great fan base to hang out with.

Side note: how great was it to have this opener and this fan base interaction ON OUR CAMPUS! Not the advocate kickoff classic, or the last Vegas kickoff showdown or fricking...camping world stadium.

Weekends like this are why you love college football baby!
