This comes off to me as a petulant child. Like "I know you guys want a QB change, but if I want to put Harris in the game in spite of you guys, I will." He doesn't want to seem like he's caved to outside pressure at the QB position and look dead wrong.

We're way past that point, Les. Way past.

Like many coaches, he doesn't like letting the other team know earlier than he has to.

Les has no options at quarterback! There is nothing to keep from the other team.
His reaction is totally insane. The team reads the news and knows how bad Les looks with his "waffling".

The only mind game he is playing now is with himself.

I worked for a man like this once. He would never ever make a decision.

The decision has been made. He just feels that not everyone needs to know what that decision is. This isn't that complicated. The Florida coach did the exact same thing.

I think les...and the administration are the only ones who think he is of any consequence..

The rest of us...the 96,000 in the stands and the community have moved on...

He is merely occupying a budgeted position and collecting his last checks...

By failing to make a decision early on the team has no idea who will start at qb and they have to prepare for 2 different types of leadership on the field.

And just how do you know that the team didn't know on Monday?

Miles may tell the team but not the media.

Tulane announced they were changing QBs

I think the pertinent message from Tulane as it applies to LSU is that Tulane switched from CJ's pro set to a spread option, scored 66 points and almost as many rushing touchdowns in one game as they had all last season.

If you think for a second the coaches and players don't know who is starting from week to week you've either never played the sport at a higher level, or are retarded.

Coach doesn't feel that the media or fans are entitled to know every minutia of information regarding the team, whether it's a starter, injury information, whatever.

It is what it is at this point. It's easier to just watch the game on Saturdays and enjoy them for what they are, instead of agonizing of what is said in every press conference, radio show or sound byte throughout each week.

Like JJ and Lee, Miles will wait for 1 mistake and slip Harris back into the game.

Miles speaking style is circuitous and muddled just like his offensive game plan. I think there are a good number of synapses that simply don't fire correctly in Les' brain.

Isn't Florida ranked lower than LSU? Shouldn't we emulate a winner?

Miles needs to do some serious damage control! He needs to placate, and impress, the fans who ultimately pay his salary.

He needs to show that he can be "presidential".

Before last Saturday, I hadn't heard boos in Tiger Stadium in a long time.
