We've been really lucky in terms of not raining on gameday the past couple of years.
This is a great point. Imagine if we get rain during a football season, can you imagine the conditions of the field then.

thought this was about his draft stock
It's plummeting behind this slipping issue. Biggest hole in his game probably. Buttah feet Mo' is what the scouts call him. He could easily slip to the 4th... or even 5th... pick

Our administration is stupid. Our players are much better when they are on synthetic grass...

The first year Bayou Country Superfest paid $400k to have the field redone. I'm not sure if Bayou Country Superfest paid 400k this past year or not.
LSU athletics does benefit from the concert and makes several million from concessions and parking and there was a money issue with the concert promoters. Maybe LSU said they would take care of the field expenses and went cheap this year like they do for everything else.
But there was a tremendous difference in the quality of the field from last season to this season.

Why would you turf proponents want to deny Miles his grass ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconspank.gif)

The wet field did help honey badger return the punt. All 4 guys around him when he caught it slipped on the same move

Our field is garbage. Everyone associated with its maintenance should be fired
Do you honestly think it's incompetent maintenance and not the field's relation to the sun?
