Money aside, it is reasonable to conclude he was underutilized or talent not recognized or bad system (or all of the above) last year and made a decision to try and improve his stats while getting potentially better pay.
Don’t care what anyone says, NIL money is nice, but it’s not the equivalent of an NFL career.
To me yet another example that really demonstrates the deficiencies in scheme/offensive coordination/head coach strategy

It is the truth. It was perfect storm for him..in a negative way. He was obviously hurt...did not have any velocity. Combine that with a terrible OL, with a terrible offensive scheme that did not factor in poor OL play at all.....a terrible OC....and he had no chance. I hope he gets healed up for the combine and if he goes to the right team he will make some people upset on here because they would be wrong about him. You dont have to have major running ability in the NFL...just a strong arm, accuracy, and ability to read a defense.
You have a lot of posters on here that think if a qb can run, nothing else matters. I guarantee many would want reed on here....despite him showing his limitations against good defenses.

Don’t overthink it. Kid has a chronic foot injury that will always be a problem for him and limit his availability
You’re not paying those types a lot of money. Especially the guy who was 4th on your team in receptions
We were smart to go after guys like Barion instead that have better skill. Daniel’s was fortunate to stay healthy this year and his best asset is definitely his blocking ability which was on display again last night. But you don’t pay WRs a ton of money to block. This ain’t the Les Miles era
