I don't agree with what he stands for, but I agree in him taking a stand.

It doesnt take any courage to stand up for his shite in this country. That right has been paid for in blood. frick him, I hope he rots in the fricking desert.

I love how every one says that they have the right to do this and do that but they have the right to condemn the very right that our country stands for. This young man lives in the greatest country in the world and has given him a living that he could of never had any other place on the face of this planet. Here he grew up to be the athilete that he chose to be and and in other countries those athiletes did not have a choice once they showed they had the talent to compete or be a competetor that is when their freedom of choice ended. All you have to do is look just 90 miles off Florida's coast line and you see thousands trying to leave a country to get to the only country that will take them in and even give them a helping hand until they can make it on their own.

I too like all of you watched CJ run roughshod over the teams of the SEC every timne they took the court. And to think that he can turn around spit in the face of my family who has given 3 lives and have had several wounded so that he can run up and down a basketball court for a living for about 5 years of his life and never have to work a day of his life, I have no, ISAID I HAVE NO RESPECT FOR HIM WHATSOEVER!. I did not say I hated him I just do not have any respect for anyone who will take the fruit of the country and turn around and say to HELL with it I have no respect for. Leave it if you do not love it, but, do not disrespect what that flag and those who died for it stand for. You say they did not die for that flag, I beg to differ, just by seeing it Francis Scott Key penned the greatest National Anthem in the world. Just by seeing it the young men in the battle in Iwo Jima had the courage to win their battle on the way to winning the war of World War II. To the men and women of the Armed Forces of our great Country The American Flag means life or death. By saying this, they give their lives in order for you and I to live our lives free from tyranny and oppression here in this great Country in which we live in and call Home of The Brave and Land of The Free.

The foundation of America is that we permit a variety of beliefs. This poster obviously believes in communist and dictatorial forms of government.

I don't understand why a basketball player can't be admired for what he did/does on the basketball court.
Set aside all the politics. who gives a crap what some celebrity thinks or does.
MAR/CJ was a great player for LSU and I'll admire him for that.
My old Man was a Marine in WW II and did spill blood in defense of this country.
He was also a journalist.
The only thing you really couldn't do as far as he was concerned was tell somebody else what they couldn't say.
That's what he taught me and what I'll go with

Freedom. Think about that word for a minute......... freedom. In America that includes the RIGHT to an opinion. Freedom is not defined as someone having the right to YOUR opinion. You don't have to agree but when you expect someone not to express their opinion, then the very foundation of EVERYONE's freedom becomes shaky at best.

It is my belief that the overwhelming portion of Americans are profoundly grateful for blood spilled to protect our freedoms. Even those people who do not agree with YOUR way of thinking.

Retiring Rudy Macklin's number at the Kentucky game. No plans as of now to retire CJ's 35.

Would you rather him stand, keep his feeling inside, and just bring a gun into the locker room. Oh that's right, that was a guy that respects your uncle's spilled blood.

I have the freedom to hate him as much as he hates the country that made him a millionaire. frick him and frick all of you that take this topic lightly. That flag means so much more than you will ever know. What have you fricks ever done for your country besides rape it for what you want and spit on the rest.

Not sure how anyone who truly embraces freedom could have a real problem with what Rauf did.

In this country the government can't lock you up for expressing your views. That's a fine thing.

However, that doesn't mean private citizens can't tell him to love it or leave it.
