He did enroll at Ole Miss and took a Red-shirt transfer year. His father works with my wife occasionally at the hospital. He knows I'm LSU and tells my wife about his son. We'll see in about 4 weeks in spring practise.

Probably what Les told him at his exit - or shortly before. And Les didn't even need the extra calories to quit.
