I'm saying Z. Lee could have easily been signed by PM a la Zach Von Rosenburg style............toiled deeply withe dodgers and still had the chance to be on baseball scholly and play football for LSU.

he couldn't play football if he were on a baseball schollie

are you seriously that concerned with Chris Garrett leaving if he got his scholarship yanked because he couldn't beat out Jefferson and Lee?
He likes to rile the rantards. You know this

Bear Bryant rule. If you play football and any other sport, you count against football's 85 scholarship limit
Posted on 7/9/10 at 11:48 am to L S Usetheforce
because its not allowed

Yes, if a two-sport athlete plays football, you have to be on scholarship for football.
Otherwise, football programs would stockpile more players than the limit allows by signing them to full scholarships for the tiddley-wink team.

Probably. Inc Freshman are moving ahead of upperclassman. Seems to be a common theme for Miles here, can't get his OL developed for shite.
At least we'll have more spots for next class though, so he can take 5 more OL.

Lowe is third string right now I think and LSU might move him to OG(which he should've been in the first place, IMO).
I think someone like Branch is also a prime candidate for attrition too.

Hi Josh. I don't understand all the stress over this. The guy could not beat out two guys who both have major flaws in their game. The job was his to take and he could not or would not take it. Sounds like an early decision that he was not going to be the answer in a couple years.
But we do need to bring in a couple of guys in the next couple classes if Lee takes the money.
Always have Shepard, though. Maybe he can throw a pass this year.
