Cincinnati (last night) reminded me of LSU last year: great offense / crap defense

Burrow got the Bengals in scoring position every drive last night. He went 29/38 for 324 yards and 3 touchdowns.
He had ZERO tackles, interceptions, and pass break ups. He needs to up his game if all he can do is play offense. Only 76% completions??? What happened on the other 24% of the passes? Burrow is arse obviously

They were doubling down on this again this morning.
Burrow, Lawrence, Rodgers, Darnold, Allen - all QBs that get heavily criticized over performance, actions, or some reason.
Jackson, Hurts, Young, Fields - heavily praised despite any wins/loses, stats, etc.
I wonder what is different about these two groups?

Our guy is doing what he can, but the team surrounding him is in large part not very good.
JD was amazing, thrilled he's getting off to a good start.

I mean that missed field goal really hurt and their defense not forcing more than 1 field goal hurt. The offense was clicking they just couldn't get any stops.

Apparently the 1st game in NFL history with 0 punts and 0 turnovers.
First since 1940 is what they said during the game.
